Scale Motorsport Porsche 956 Multi Media Kit - With Machined Aluminum / Brass / PE Super Detail Set and CD, 1/24, 19010

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

Sold

Rare. This is an incredibly well detailed and documented model. On the box top it claims to be 'The most comprehensive 956 multi-media kit ever assembled' and that is no idle boast. It starts with the Tamiya 956 and adds four good sized photoetched frets containing 150 pieces, 22 turned metal parts including shocks absorbers with working coil over springs, knobs, reservoirs for brake and clutch, fuel cannisters, fuel regulators, ignition coil and more. There is a second instruction book that is highly detailed and longer than the Tamiya one as well as a "956 Porsche Up Close & Mechanical Photo CD" which is both PC and MAC compatible. The kit has never been started. All parts, both Tamiya and from Scale Motorsports, are still in the factory sealed bags. Includes decals and both sets of instructions.

Nitto M12 Gun Motor Carriage With Jeep And Motorcycle / M30 Cargo Carrier With Jeep And Motorcycle / ESCI TWO Russian Soldiers / ESCI TWO Eight Army British Soldiers / TWO ESCI/Aurora 3/4 Ton Weapons Carrier, 1/76, 23

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG to Exc

Sold

SALE!! Includes all 8 kits in the 5 boxes shown. NOTE: Sold AS-IS and not inventoried. This collector was very meticulous. Of the many thousands of his kits that I did inventory,, 95+% are complete. But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he built minor sub assemblies (chassis, body sides, turrets, etc.) to 'professional' quality. Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price. Please note that while the two Nitto kits are listed as 1/76 scale, the 6 ESCI kits are listed as 1/72 scale.

The B-47 was a very advanced aircraft at the time. The XB-47 first flew in 1947. The big jet's speed was equal to or greater than all current fighter aircraft, so it received radar-controlled twin 20mm cannons in the tail as the only guns. Through the use of mid-air refueling, the B-47 gave SAC it's first all-jet force for nuclear or regular bomb delivery. Although it was tricky to fly, Stratojets flew into the mid 1960s. A program to strengthen the wings for low-level attack was responsible for prolonging the service life.
