The Wellesley was a single engine bomber first flown in 1935. It is famous for a record setting flight in 1938 from Egypt to Australia. The craft was very advanced for its day, and many features found their way into the next famous Vickers aircraft, the Wellington Bomber. Decals for No.14 (Bomber) Sqn RAF Amman, Transjordan 1938 or Engine Development Testbed for LRDU aircraft 1938 (ex RAF 148 Sqn). Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

The actual kit is widely considered the finest quarter-scale Dauntless. Very highly detailed with over 110 parts, all fine recessed panel lines, positionable perforated dive brakes, fully detailed interior, opened or closed canopies, R-1820-60 engine and more. There is no assembly but NOTE: the interior parts have been neatly airbrushed zinc chromate green to 'professional' quality. There is no other painting and zero assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Very, very rare and especially in this condition - never used, internally sealed and with an 'excellent' condition box. From about 1963 and features incredible box art on a high-gloss box top. Large 1/21 scale model has a chassis nearly 11 inches long. Very realistic and loaded with operating features - about the only thing it does not do is shoot. Fully motorized with two large RE-36 electric motors working through an all-metal gear box with metal gears for full differential drive through a hand-held remote control unit which is included. The box top is in 'excellent' condition - it has beautiful color and gloss, four solid corners, no rips or tears, no fading, no repairs, no price tags and no tape other than the residue from the two short pieces of factory sealing tape. Flaws in include light, even general wear as shown. Inside, the kit has not been started and is still exactly as it left the factory. Every part that was factory sealed is still sealed in the factory bag with the correct M40 paper headers in 'excellent' or better condition. The parts that were not sealed (2 motors, hull top and bottom, tracks and remote control body) are complete and mint. Even the internal box reinforcement cardboard parts are present and the center tray is still factory stapled to the box bottom. Decals are still factory bag sealed and in amazing 'excellent+' condition. Even the treads are mint and flexible with no signs of the usual decay! The instructions are 'near mint.'

Very, very rare and even more so in this condition- never started and still factory sealed inside. From 1963 and with stunning artwork on a high-gloss box top.. An early and amazing Tamiya kit in big 1/21 scale that does almost everything but shoot. Features two big RE-36 electric motors, all metal gear box and gears and a hand-held remote control. The chassis alone measures almost 11 inches long. The box has exceptional color and gloss and is complete. All four corners are solid but there is a closed tear on one long side and there is light general wear as shown. There are no price tags and the only tape marks are from the two short pieces of factory sealing tape. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. All the parts that were factory sealed are still factory sealed in clear bags and have 'near mint' condition paper M-4 headers. The parts that were not sealed (2 motors, hull top and bottom, tracks and remote control body) are complete and mint. Even the internal box reinforcement cardboard parts are present and the center tray is still factory stapled to the box bottom. Decals are still factory bag sealed and in amazing 'near mint' condition. Even the treads are mint and flexible with no signs of the usual decay! The instructions are 'near mint.'

Berkeley Aeronca Sedan - Land or Seaplane Flying Model Airplane Kit, 1/12

Big 1/12 scale model with a 35.25 inch wingspan. Originally designed as a gas powered model for free flight or control line, it can be converted to electric power and modern R/C (radio control). Includes all parts to build as a landplane but includes plans and instructions for seaplane and floats. Features numerous die-cut and perfabricated wooden parts, strip stock as required, formed wire landing gear, completely finished wheels, die-cut clear windshield and side windows, a large decal sheet, covering material, full size plans and more. The model has not been started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and plans present. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.
