Rare original issue hardbox dated 1962. Loaded with great features including opening hood, opening doors and tail gate, fully detailed engine and compartment, complete interior, fully detailed frame with complete front and rear suspension, drive line and exhaust detail, Ford V-8 stock or Pontiac custom engine, parts for stock or custom versions including optional interior, grille, dropped front axle, surfboard and more. Molded in white, chrome, clear, red-tinted clear and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. All of the parts that were sealed at the factory are still factory sealed. The clear and chrome parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete and includes instructions. NOTE: there is a tire burn to the back of the front windshield. The burn is moderate (not light but not heavy). Since the burn is only on the back, the ideal and best way to make a replacement would be to reproduce it with the equivalent of Squadron Thermoform Clear Plastic.

1967 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of their kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. This car is an exact reproduction of the car owned by Ralph T. Buckley, owner of the Antique Auto Shop of New Jersey. This shop specialized in rebuilding Mercer automobiles to factory new condition. The car was part of the Gene Zimmerman display of over 150 such cars in Holiday West PA. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated parts, colored injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet.' Molded in deep red, brass plating, clear and with rubber tires. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Hard-to-find 198s issue from quality Airfix molds. The box art mistakenly calls this a destroyer, but it is the famous light cruiser from the famous Battle of River Plate with the Graf Spee. (Furthermore, MPC calls the heavy Cruiser HMS Suffolk a "Battle Cruiser.") The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The box displays better than the 'very good' grade but is ranked as such because the small panel with with the 'Golden Opportunity' tokens (on the side) has been neatly cut away.

Very rare first issue. This is an extraordinary model with two outstanding features. First, it is molded in an amazing gold metallic exactly like the box top and second, includes a 'Best Of Show' display stand that slowly rotates for four hours on rubber band power alone. This beautiful automatic turntable even comes with metal ball bearings and factory grease, as well as the original rubber band. The kit is highly detailed and features complete engine and engine compartment, opening hood, detailed underside, superb interior with folding front seats, clear gauge lenses and more. Molded in gloss metallic dark gold, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays slightly better than the 'good' rating but is graded as such due to a small hole right at the lower left corner as shown and some bug damage to the litho just below that.

Features detailed engine, opening hood, good engine compartment detail, full interior, molded in underside detail and more. Molded in ivory white, clear, red-tint clear, chrome and with black rubber whitewall tires, metal axles and metal body screws The model has never been started. Inventoried and the stock version is complete and includes photocopied instructions. NOTE: missing the following custom parts: fin, scoop, fender mirrors & spot lights and missing decals and the original instructions. Scale Model Products (SMP) was a major competitor to AMT during the late 1950s. SMP started the 'Annual' craze in 1958. However, AMT bought SMP around 1960/1961. AMT liked the SMP logo more than their own, and substituted their letters into it. It is not known exactly who invented the '3 In 1' kit, but many credit it to SMP.
