Rare motorized 1st issue. Could easily be made RC with today's small components. This is a large motorized kit that sails well. One electric motor drives the ship on a course that you pre-set - figure 8, straight or circle. While sailing at a good rate of speed, the four main turrets slowly swing from port to starboard together and the guns elevate. I remember sailing mine for years before the batteries died in the middle of the lake. There is no assembly but NOTE: one davit is neatly painted. There is no other painting. It has been inventoried complete with all parts. Includes flag sheet, electric motor, running hardware and instructions.

1991 Crafthouse issue of the four popular Lindberg small scale boats (that were originally rubber-band powered). These were very nice, small scale ship models for that time (early 1960s). The Tow, Tuna and Fire Boats are listed as 1/60 scale and about 5.5 inches long. The Tow Boat is listed as 1/220 scale and is also about 5.5 inches long. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze.
