I have never seen early USA versions internally sealed but most if not all of this series from Canada has the parts, instructions and decals factory sealed in clear plastic bags. Please note, the box has moderate general wear as shown, a stain at the upper right and there is a price tag tear on one short side.

First issue hardbox dated 1958. The box is in 'excellent' condition with light general wear as the only flaws. Possibly the best injection molded kit ever of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Correctly molded in brown and ivory plastic with a clear stand. Excellent detail and includes rigging material and instructions. Kit also features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight. Never started. Inventoried with all parts instructions present.
