Estes Interceptor E - 39 Inch Flying Rocket, 1350

Estes took one of the most popular rocket kits of all time - the Astron Interceptor - and almost doubled the size to 39 inches (99 cm) tall. Very faithful to the original classic, this one has injection molded nose cone, wing tip pods, rocket nozzle, etc as the original and has several huge decal sheets. Other parts are cardstock and cardboard body tubes with plastic parachute. Never opened, still factory sealed.

Older issue from the 1960s. Excellent kit with very good detail. Includes parts to build one of three versions. Stock version features detailed Mercury V-8 engine and engine compartment, opening hood and trunk, very good underside and suspension detail with separately molded front and rear suspension, drive shaft, exhaust, tie rods and spindles and full interior. Custom version parts include 412 Chrysler ram-induction V8 engine, dropped front end with reversed chrome wheels, baby moon caps, tunneled headlights, floating grill bar, rolled pans, spotlights, interior center console, floor shift, gauges, phone, TV, tape recorder, custom steering wheel and package tray speakers, custom bullet tail lights, dual side pipes and more. Molded in white, clear and chrome with black rubber tires. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, large, excellent decal sheet and instructions.

Comet De Havilland DH-4 Mail Plane - 21 inch Wingspan Flying Balsa Model Airplane, 3305

Large 21" wingspan flying kit can be powered by rubber, electric and made into RC with today's tiny and lightweight servos and receivers. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, color insignia for US Mail aircraft, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, wheels, tissue and propeller. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Monogram F-19 Stealth Fighter, 1/48, 5824

Still factory sealed. Rare large scale version. 1987 first and only issue of Monogram's rather costly blunder. 'Stealth' was on everyone's lips in those years and several model companies took a stab at what the plane might look like. Monogram's kit was quite off the mark and was quickly discontinued when the real aircraft was shown to the public.

1997 reissue from the very nice Aurora molds. When Monogram acquired the Aurora molds in the late 1970s, they only reissued the best kit - and this was one of them. Exceptionally well detailed with opening doors, hood and trunk. Trunk contains luggage and spare tire. Full chassis, body and interior detail. Molded in white, red, black, chrome and with rubber wheels. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

NOTE: the interior surfaces, wheels, drop tanks and engines have been very neatly airbrushed the correct color. Quality of paint is excellent and there is no other painting. NOTE: several small sub-assemblies have been built to the following (quality) - wing and drop tank halves (excellent), engines (excellent)and bombs (very good). There is no other assembly. Inventoried with all parts, 2 sheets of decals and two sets of instructions present. F-4 parts include camera, cowl with clear lenses, nose, wheels and more.
