Aurora United 747 Friendship, 1/156, 362

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

$59

AURORA block letters logo issue dated 1972. Features big 15 inch wingspan, clear cockpit windshield, detailed 18 wheel landing gear, large display stand and full United decals. Molded in white, clear and with a large black tripod stand. Decals are in rare 'excellent' condition.

Paramount Boeing 727 -100 JAL 'Tone' Old Livery, 1/220, 6005-100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$42

Rare kit from Otaki molds. It represents an early 'short' 727 and features very fine raised detail, full landing gear, a display stand and stunning early JAL full color decals just like the box art aircraft. This was back when airlines would name aircraft, and this one is 'Tone,' which is a river in Japan. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Paramount was based in Canada and sold kits from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s when they shut down. This exact kit lists Pawtucket, RI as the address with the contents made in Japan and the litho done in Canada. Most if not all of the kits were from older Otaki, Sanwa, Nichimo or Marusan molds although some remain unidentified. Kits for sale in Canada has three digit part numbers, and those destined for the USA had four digit numbers.

Airfix Blackburn NA-39 Buccaneer - Type Two Issue, 1/72, 384

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair+

$27

Late 1950s Type 2 box issue. Kit features opening unique rotating bomb bay, folding wings and working arresting hook. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The Buccaneer was the world's first purpose designed low level 'below the radar' bomber. Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid metal.

Airfix Dornier Do-217 E.2, 1/72, 383

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$22

Very early T2 (Type 2) logo issue from the 1950s. Kit features movable elevators, rudders and ailerons, elevating gun and rotating turret, cockpit detail, four crew members and rotating wheels and props. NOTE: kit has minor assembly. Crew and cockpit have been very neatly assembled. There is no other assembly and no painting. Missing one mud guard. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts present including decals and instructions.

MPC 1970 Dodge Challenger Plum Crazy With Trailer - Stock / Racing Version / Barris Custom Version, 1/25, 1470-200

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

$425

Very, very rare and even harder to find in this condition. This is a one owner model that was kept in climate controlled storage. Features numerous optional parts for all versions, detailed engine and compartment, opening hood, full interior, chassis detail, a trailer, tool hitch, tool box and more. Molded in the correct 'Plum Crazy' purple, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Amazingly, there are no obvious tire burns. The instructions are 'excellent' with the typical yellowing as the only flaw, amazing 'excellent++' graded decals and even the original flyer for MPC Dynoracers. This kit must be shipped insured.

Aurora North American F-100 Super Sabre, 1/103, 490-50

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc+

$52

Dated 1961 with the great Jim Cox artwork that makes early Aurora kits so collectible. This issue has a slightly larger box than earlier ones. It is a nicely done kit for that time, molded in gloss silver and clear with full landing gear and clear 'Triangle World Map' stand. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please note, this is not a reissue of the Comet model. Aurora cut these molds years before acquiring Comet's F-100.

Aurora Grumman F9F Panther Jet, 1/49, 22-100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$65

Dated 1960, but I believe this is actually a later issue due to the 100 cent price extension and no 'Famous Fighters' logo on the short box sides. Molded in a brilliant gloss deep blue and clear with the clear triangle 'World' stand. These molds are from one of Aurora's first two kits - the F9F and F-90. Aurora simply went out and purchased the early Hawk F9F and F-90 kits and copied them almost exactly. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

F-86 is quarter scale and from the original 1950s molds but slightly modified for motorizing. Aurora Albatross D-3 (Albatros DIII), 1/48, 104-100

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Exc+

$45

Still factory sealed but the seal has a split on both short sides. Box has a 1956 date on it, but this a 1960s issue hardbox. Most likely from 1963+ because of the simplified Aurora logo and $1 price extension on the part number.
