Very highly detailed, superb kit. Features all high-definition resin cast building sides with intricate detail, interior floors, metal chimneys and downspouts, injection molded fire escapes, clear windows and more. With detailed plans and text instructions as well as a Magnuson catalog. Never started. All of the parts that were sealed at the factory are still factory sealed. The few that were not have been inventoried complete. Magnuson had an extensive line for HO building and even accessories designed for the individual who appreciated a fine, authentic reproduction of period architecture but who did not have the time to make a 'craftsman kit' or 'scratch built' it.

Rare model from 1985. Designed for Radio Control operation, the Windbag has a big 12 square inch parachute for an airfoil. The wing breaks down to 'pocket size' for transporting. The wing is mounted on the top of an alloy kingpost which gives it an exceptionally low center of gravity so it is totally self stabilizing. From any maneuver, simply release the controls and it will revert to level flight. Even in a totally stalled condition, it will simply lower slowly. But you are more likely to enjoy the fast climb rate and outstanding manoeuvrability including loops. Still factory sealed but the seal has several splits. Original issue Action Model from 1961. Features a unique system of landing gear operation: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Then pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Other features include movable control surfaces, detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy, bracing material and instructions for rigging. Molded in red, yellow, silver and clear.

Beautiful brass locomotive, hand-built in Japan by Katsumi for Balboa Scale Models of San Diego, California. This one-owner model has always been carefully stored in the original box. The original clear plastic protective sheet and all three factory gray foam 'cradle' sections are present and in 'excellent' condition. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag. Under 14x magnification, the drive wheels show the tiniest bit of wear, so it has probably been lightly run 2 or 3 times. I see no modifications to the engine or tender and I believe them to be complete with no missing or broken parts; but please examine the photos for yourself! Ask me if you need something checked more closely. I have no narrow gauge track, so I am unable to test the locomotive, so it is sold "As Is." There Balboa instruction sheet is present.
