1980 issue of the Cutty Sark's famous competitor, which the beautiful boxart shows to full advantage. Highly detailed large kit that measures 36 inches long when built. Has complete running and standing rigging instructions; can be built with sails or without. Molded in green, black and ivory plastic. Never started. The parts are still in factory bags. Includes rat lines, detailed assembly instructions, full rigging instructions, billowing sails, decals, flag sheet, a variety of standing and running rigging thread and metal chain. The vac sails are in 'very good++' condition.

The model is '...life-size...so anatomically accurate it can be used by medical students-schools-doctors-first aid squads.' Includes full internal works, removable panels, label decals and rotating stand that names each part of the heart. Also includes color booklet 'The Human Heart' which explains this incredible organ. Rare Playcraft Issue in excellent condition. Color and gloss are 'excellent', all four corners are solid, there are no price tag or tag marks, no fading and no litho loss or tears. The flaws are very small amounts of clear tape on both long sides and general light wear as shown. This kit was also issued as 'Steve Canyon' Air Force Pilot. Very desirable large-scale model with 'Famous Fighters' sunburst logo. Dated 1957. If you look closely, the artwork is the first issue F8U Crusader with the Air Force pilot placed in the foreground. Well detailed large 1/8 scale kit includes all pilot equipment and display base. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Please note that decals did not come with this issue.

Rare. 1966 dated hardbox in very nice condition. The color and gloss are like new. Has four solid, original corners, no tape or price tags and no tape or tag marks. Flaws include light general wear, a very light crease, corner wear and a very small piece of litho missing on the right side panel. This is one of Aurora's later kits with improved mold quality. Features full hull, detailed flight deck, complete interior hangar deck, movable hangar deck doors, 6 Sea Knight and 6 Sea King helicopters, deck guns, display stand and full color decals with flag. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Airfix Great Western Ocean Liner, 1/180, 882-1800

Large scale Japan issue. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions and flag sheet, 'near mint' billowing sails, pre-formed ratlines and rigging material.

Revell USS Enterprise CV6 Aircraft Carrier, 1/490, 2556

1979 Revell Advent issue. Kit is over 20 inches long and includes a one piece hull, SBD scout-bombers, moving cranes, detailed island structure and a partial hanger decks where you can display aircraft. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals, flag sheet and instructions. If you are curious, this kit is actually different from the Revell 1/490 CV-5 Yorktown and Hornet kits of the same era. The Yorktown differences include the bridge catwalk, island searchlight platforms, number of search lights, small boat configuration and radar. CV-6 has a combat record unequaled in history of the US Navy and is considered the most Successful Warship in History. Her totals were as follows: 20 Battle Stars, 911 Aircraft Destroyed and 71 Ships Sunk. She took part in almost every major action of the Pacific war from 1941 to 1945. The fascinating history of this ship is told by Commander Edward P. Stafford, USN, in his legendary book 'The Big E - The Story of the USS Enterprise.'
