Very, very rare. From ex-Bandai molds. Highly detailed, large-scale model with RE-14 motor drive. Includes a novel, well-engineered and correctly hidden metal drive box with gears and transaxle for drive on both rear wheels. Bandai engineered this model so the drive belts and cogs move just like on the real car. The on/off system has been improved over the original Bandai system; the engine now operates from a hidden switch under the floorboard and the motor is reversed from a switch on the floor of the interior. The headlights also operate. The batteries are cleverly hidden under the front seat. Kit features detailed scale engine, removable hood, full frame and detailed underside, complete suspension, front wheels that can be turned, full interior, opening doors and more. To minimize or eliminate painting, Imai molded this kit in gloss white, red, gray, black, brown, clear, brass plate, nickel plate and with rubber tires, metal parts, flexible drive belts and more. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. The glue is not present, and was probably never included.

The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.
