Still factory sealed. Older but nicely detailed and molded. The Maultier was as modified Opel Blitz truck with tracks. It could easily travel under adverse conditions, especially muddy terrain. It quickly became standard equipment for the German Army and about 5,400 Maultiers were produced.

Rare. Age unknown - likely 1940s. This is a very highly detailed period kit of a low, four wheel carriage with a folding (Calash) top. The Victoria was designed with a rear seat for two passengers, a raised front drivers seat and was mainly used for pleasure. The kit consists of black injection molded spoke wheels and clear carriage lamps, die cut cloth for the top, die cut flexible 'leather' plastic for the spring leaves, mud guards, body sides, wood parts all cut to shape, formed wire parts, leatherette upholstering material, red seat covering cloth, shafts, full size plans and detailed instructions. Measures 7 inches long when assembled. The kit has never been started. The small parts that were factory sealed are still factory sealed; the larger parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete including plans and instructions. If it were not for Mod-Ac, we would not have many accurate models of early historic Western transportation. Mod-Ac was a manufacture of early hobby kits out of Los Angeles California. During World War II they issued a well known kit line of military vehicles. The company was innovative as this kit shows - the wide variety of materials, pre-carved wood and highly detailed plans and instructions put this model many notches above the 'make wood look like vehicle' type of kit.

Please note that that typical of many Mach 2 kits, the instructions are overly simplistic and only contain some text and a few drawings. I do not recommend this kit for inexperienced model builders.
