Original dealer promotional model. Includes the correct factory-black painted AMT metal chassis and cast metal rear bumper + front bumper and grill. The friction motor is missing. There is some slight body warp but not much. Clear windshield is very good but could use some light cleaning. The red paint is original and glossy but does show wear and has a spot on the trunk. The owner painted the silver trim to 'professional' quality. It looks better than most factory painted trim on other promos.

Very large scale and well detailed model measures 24.87 when assembled. One of the few 1/8 scale kits of a modern American Muscle Car. Features optional T Tops, 400 CID engine, WS-6 handling package, steerable front wheels, detailed engine compartment with opening hood, full interior and more. Molded in metallic dark brown, tan, black, chrome plated and clear plastic & includes rubber Goodyear Eagle tires. Includes large decal sheet with hood bird. The kit has never beens started. Inside, it is as it left the factory. The parts that were factory sealed in clear bags are all still sealed in those bags. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. Original 1950s hardbox issue with fantastic Ray Gaedke box art and in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. In 1931, Post and Gatty flew the Vega 'Winnie Mae' around the world in 8 days, 15 hours and 8 minutes for a new world record. In 1933 Post tested a gyroscope automatic pilot and radio direction finder in another record flight lasting 7 days, 18 hours and 45 minutes. This aircraft is now in the Smithsonian Museum. Vegas did see military service, with a few operated by the RAAF, Spanish Republic Air Force, and USAAC. (This kit does not include military decals.) Kit features moving control surfaces, cockpit and rotating prop and wheels. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

1975 issue with desirable full-color Diorama Instructions. Well detailed model featuring Normandy 'Cullin' hedge cutter and crew of two. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Modified Shermans were required to cut through the thick hedgerows of Normandy which had previously proved almost impenetrable. This modification assisted greatly with the speed of the offensive in this region. Can be built with 'soft armor' as shown on the cover or as the standard welded-hull M4 without the Cullin and 'soft armor.'
Topping Chance Vought F8U-1 Crusader - Factory Desktop Model

Incredibly rare, early 1950s NOS Topping F8U-1 Crusader model untouched in the original factory box. The example was shipped from Topping to Chance-Vought; then Chance-Vought shipped it to the contractor as a gift. It still bears the original shipping label, postage meter stamp and insurance number. Inside, all of the factory cardboard and tissue are still intact. The stand and aircraft were never displayed or used. The gloss and shine on both are fantastic. There are no cracks, no breaks and no repairs. Decals and factory paint are in 'near mint' condition. While never used, please note that these models never left the factory in 'flawless' condition. There were always minor paint flaws and minor molding flaws as they were mass-produced. Furthermore, the canopies and decals inevitably have some yellowing, although this example is minimal. Because the original Topping box adds significantly to the value, it will be carefully packed into another box for shipping. Shipping insurance is required.
