ITC was the model manufacturing arm of the giant Ideal Toy Company. Ideal only made plastic models for a very short time in the late 1950s and early 1960s before all production was discontinued. Luckily, they made some great subjects. This Condor is molded in the correct bright orange with blue-tinted clear windows and base. Includes decals for Eastern Air Service and Antarctic Expedition II. NOTE: this kit has minor assembly: wing halves; float halves. There is no other assembly. Quality of assembly is as follows: wings and one float: excellent++; 2nd float - 'very good.' There are no gaps but some glue is visible and will need to be sanded. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

The Thermic 36 was a medium-sized, successful design that flew well with tow-line or boosted skyward with a Jetex 150 engine. Includes full size plan, all parts accurately die-cut, stripwood and spars, covering material and more. Perfect for RC conversion. The model has not been started. Jetco kits used the best materials and are very well engineered and complete. Features high quality die-cut balsa, factory-cut wooden parts, factory cut stringers and spars and full size plans/instructions. NOTE: this model has minor and 'excellent++' quality assembly; the frame of the fuselage pod has been very neatly built. There is no other assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) of (1) F3 die-cut small triangle shaped parts. There is plenty of extra wood to make this part and you can use the existing part as a pattern. Otherwise includes all other wooden parts and paperwork. I do not see any covering tissue, but I am not certain that it even came with any.
