NOTE: excellent builder kit ONLY. Not collectible. Please read carefully. This kit is complete but has some very neat assembly and painting done. Very large 1/8 scale model that measures 22 inches long when assembled. Nicely detailed and well molded featuring complete 327 CID Fuel Injection engine and detailed engine compartment, opening hood, exhaust, suspension and chassis detail, steerable front wheels, complete interior, headlights that open and close and more. Molded in beautiful bright gloss red, black, clear and chrome and with real rubber tires. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The kit has had the following very neat sub-assemblies built. The quality of the build and paint is in parenthesis with the build quality first. The format is (build quality/paint quality): Engine built and put into frame (professional/near mint), battery and overflow tank (pro/near mint), air intake assembly and radiator assembly (pro/near mint), some front suspension parts and steering box (pro/near mint), master cylinder built and painted but not installed (near mint/excellent+). There is no other assembly. There is other painting as described: minor interior trim (pro to 'very good'- which is only because it needs a second coat. There is just one thin coat), WSWiper blades (pro), front and rear windshield reveal molding and vent window frames, all on the body (pro to excellent++), black weatherstrip around those (excellent to only 'good'). I did not see any other paint but there could be other minor parts painted.

From about 1965. Very finely molded and contains no rivets - just fine panel lines. Features rotating turret, crew of three and some interior detail and optional position landing gear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.

The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy and instructions for rigging.

Large-scale kit features very good detail, rigging material, step-by-step rigging instructions, figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories that were present at the first flight: "C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing clear stand arm. This is a simple, flat part that can be cut from a sheet of stock plastic.
