Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc++

$85

Rare model of the first commercial turboprop airliner, and it includes the rare Capital Airlines one page "The Jet Prop Viscount' advertising sheet. The box displays beautifully and is in 'Excellent' condition with as new color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape and no price tags, no fading and no litho tears. Light general wear and a very light stain on the lower part of one long side are the only flaws. Includes passenger boarding ramp and Capital airlines decals in 'excellent+' condition with light age yellowing as the only flaw. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box top would grade even higher than 'excellent++' but is graded as such because there is a very light stain on the top long side.

Hawk Skykray F4-D Picture Gallery, 1/72, 708-69

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$36

Rare issue from the 1950s from the 'Picture Gallery' series. Includes the correctly early decals and the green tinted canopy. Bill Campbell explained to me that the artist producing the Picture Gallery series artwork had a heart attack and could not finish the assignment. Hawk had to switch artist in a hurry, and that is how Bill found his way to Hawk. Bill did the art from that point forward, making the limited issue PG boxes very desirable for collectors. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the instruction sheet is a quality photocopy of the original. NOTE: the box is only graded 'good' because there is significant bug damage on the side panels. The bugs ate away some of the litho but left the heavy cardboard behind it.

$149

Very rare. This is the original 1960 Revell issue not the 1990s reissue. It has the beautiful John Steel painting suitable for framing. The 2.39 price extension makes this the Canadian issue. This model contains decals to build any of these sister ships - Los Angeles - Fall River - Baltimore - Pittsburgh - Columbus - Bremerton - Canberra - Toledo - Quincy - Chicago - St. Paul - Macon or Boston. It is molded in the correct glossy gray plastic for this early issue. The kit has never been started. It is factory new inside, with all the parts and all instructions, decals & flag sheet still inside the Revell factory sealed clear bag.
