Very rare. Tamiya's early armor models were the finest work of the mold maker's art. The very top of that line had push-button remote control and dual electric motor operation. This is one of those models and it features all steel & brass twin drive gearboxes, two electric motors, realistic sprocket drive just like the real tank, all motorizing hardware, factory-soldered wiring harness and switch assembly, hand-held remote control, excellent detail throughout and a crew of two. Tracks are fully flexible and in perfect condition. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Very, very rare and especially in this condition - never used, internally sealed and with a 'good+' condition box. From about 1963 and features incredible box art on a high-gloss box top. This large 1/21 scale model features a chassis nearly 11 inches long, is highly detailed and loaded with operating features - about the only thing it does not do is shoot. Fully motorized with two large RE-36 electric motors working through an all-metal gear box with metal gears for full differential drive through a hand-held remote control unit which is included. You can command the tank to forward or backward movement, big or small right turn and big or small left turns. All bogies and rollers are fully operational. The gun elevates by rotating the scale handle which operates through a rather amazing set of gears, the barrel elevation pistons are operational with a simulation of hydraulic resistance inside, gun breech opens and closes, several hatches open and close and much more. Inside, the kit has not been started. Every part that was factory sealed is still sealed in the factory bag with the correct M40 paper headers in 'excellent' or better condition. The parts that were not sealed (2 motors, hull top and bottom, tracks and remote control body) are inventoried complete. Even the internal box reinforcement cardboard parts are present and the center 'tray' is still factory stapled to the box bottom. Decals are still factory bag sealed and in 'very good' condition with the usually yellowing being the only flaw. The instructions are 'near mint.' One track is flexible and mint but NOTE: the second track is brittle and broken into many parts.
