Aurora General Patton Tank - (M46), 1/48, 301-129

This hard-to-find armor kit is dated 1963 and has John Steel hardbox artwork. Aurora made excellent armor kits for that time and this is no exception. In the early 1960s modeling reviewers declared them as the finest armor kits in any scale. Molded in gloss olive drab with flexible black treads. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

1970s issue featuring optional position cabin doors, full interior, pilot figure, detailed engine and exhaust ring as well as full decals. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The famous and beautiful gull-winged SR-9 was the 1937 version of the SR series which began in 1933 and continued in production until 1941. The aircraft was popular and saw use as personal transports and executive planes. Five passenger could be seated in deluxe accommodations. The military used 45 privately owned SRs during WWII. Today this aircraft is very valuable and sought after by collectors and restorers.

Aurora The Red Knight of Vienna, 1/8, K4-98

Very rare 1957 issue with the K4 kit number and 1957 copyright date and old artwork. This hardbox is in 'excellent+' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid and original corners, no repairs, no price tags or tape and no marks from either, no tears, or fading and no missing lithograph. Flaws include light creasing, slight age wear and light edge & corner wear. This kit is the same scale as the other Aurora Knight kits and is molded in a beautiful deep burgundy. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. In the mid 1950s, Aurora bought three 'Knight' molds from Crown Plastics and issued them as K1, K2 and K3. These were the very first Aurora figure kits and they sported the 1956-only rectangular 'Northern Lights' logo with the correct 'Crown Line' logo inside it. The sales success of the Knight prompted Aurora to launch an entire line of figure kits. The knights themselves stayed in production long after many other figures were discontinued.

1963 hardbox issue using the same artwork and molds from the original 'S' kit. Features a gun barrel that swivels, elevates and has recoil action, rotating wheels with rubber tires, trails that fold inward for towing, 4 G.I. figures, shell casings, projectiles, shell crate and more. Includes a detailed 'battle-ground' base. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box displays as 'Near Mint' but is only graded 'Excellent' because there is a narrow 1/" by 1 3/8" tape tear on the long upper side.

Rare, out of production and highly detailed model of this famous sailing ship features 419 pieces, full hull, all fittings, vacuform billowing sails in 'excellent' condition (not 'perfect' but 'excellent,' which means well above average), plenty of standing and running rigging material and full rigging instructions. Never started. The parts still in the internal factory sealed bags. Complete with decals and instructions.

The Atomic Cannon was the Army's 20 mile range gun that could fire shells with small atomic bombs inside them. Features transporters with movable wheels and towing yokes - fully detailed cab interiors and complete suspensions - machine guns swivel and elevate - Gun can be configured for firing or towing positions - Gun Barrel elevates by real operating gears - Gun Carriage rotates 360 degrees on platform - Gun actually fires 2 "Atomic" shells. Ideal Aeroplane & Supply CV-7 USS Wasp Aircraft Carrier - 18.5 Inch Long Wooden Ship Kit

Very rare kit from 1941 that measures 18.5 inches long when assembled. This well designed model even includes partial hanger deck sections where they are most visible from the port and starboard sides; even the rear elevator has a well, so it can be displayed up or down. Issued shortly before the war, the model was not reissued after the war since the Wasp was lost off Guadalcanal by what is likely the most successful submarine torpedo salvo in the history of warfare. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped wood-material hull in excellent, solid and straight condition, 5 sheets of cleanly done printwood (two are bristol board as thick as balsa but stronger), fully formed funnel, wood stock in many shapes and sizes, a fittings packet with four propellers & two anchors and two factory sealed packs of Casco Glue. Features excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous detail view of the ships substructure and a detailed view of the hanger deck, flight deck with pre-war markings and island. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and paperwork present.

Aurora 1931 Miller Special 1931 Indianapolis 500 Winner - (ex Best), 1/30, 523-69

Very rare model from 1958 in an 'excellent+' condition box. This model is from Best molds. Aurora purchased these molds just for the Indianapolis 500 Winners and released only one issue. The kit is molded in white plastic with real rubber tires, a driver figures, some interior detail and very nice decals. It has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions; even includes the factory tissue packing paper. Louis Schneider and 'Jigger Johnson' (driver and mechanic) drove the Bowes Seal Special to victory in 1931. The Miller Special had rear wheel drive, and eight cylinder 151.7 CID Miller engine and won the day averages 96.629 miles per hour. The track was dangerously unsafe that year due to a heavy drizzle that made driving over 80 mph dangerous - at one point, drivers were required to slow down to 80 mph and passing was not allowed other than the pit area. There were many spectacular accidents but the rain did relent and there were many speeds over 100 mph in the later part.

Early issue from the 1960s. Nichimo created an excellent line of unique 1/500 scale battleship and heavy cruiser models; the earliest ones have rare glossy box art from the 'Golden Age' of Japanese model kit illustrations. This model can be built for operation in water or static full hull or waterline versions. Very well detailed and molded for that time and features a metal & brass gearbox for dual propeller drive, u-joints, brass battery contacts and switch, metal propeller shaft, one piece lower hull (molded in the correct dark red), one piece upper hull (molded in gray), detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, floatplanes and more. Never started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the hardware parts have been inventoried and NOTE: missing one metal shaft; otherwise compete. Includes the silver and gold foil covered name display card and instructions. Please note that Nichimo did not supply decals with this issue.
