One and only issue. Hardbox dated 1965. Aurora issued this kit in the wake of the highly successful James Bond 007 series. Has many working features: ejection seat blows hatch and ejects passenger - twin machine guns come out of turn signals - front and rear rammers extend from bumpers - revolving license plates - tire cutters come out of knock-offs - bullet proof shield rises out of trunk and oil spreaders and smoke jets come out of tail lights. Kit is in investment grade condition. Box is NM, and all small parts are still factory sealed. Molded in correct gloss gray, black, clear, chrome and with real rubber tires. Never started. The 540K was produced from 1937 to 1939 by Daimler-Benz and was priced at about $11,000 - a King's ransom in those days. The supercharger boosted horsepower to 180 and the car traveled easily at 105 mph. Features rolling chassis detail, detailed engine, complete interior, removable soft top or boot and removable hood.

The brilliant aircraft designer Claudius Dornier filed at patent a design for an aircraft with two engines in 1937. The unique part was that both aircraft were located in the fuselage centerline, with one driving a propeller at the front and one a 'pusher' at the rear. There were many problems to solve before the airplane would become a reality. To test some of the concepts, Ulrich Hutter designed a small testbed aircraft featuring a rear pusher propeller, tricycle landing gear and a cruciform tail arrangement. The result was the Goppingen Go 9 built by Schempp-Hirth and powered by an 80 hp Hirth HM 60R engine mounted at aircraft CG. A long drive shaft drove the four blade wooden propeller. The designed proved to be a success. In time, Dornier submitted Projekt 231 to the Technische Amt. 231 became the Do-335, one of the fastest piston engined aircraft ever built. Never started. Still factory sealed.

Still factory sealed. This the second Yorktown of the Essex class which replaced the first one which was lost at the Battle of Midway. Launched in January of 1943 the Yorktown saw and incredible service ranging from WWII, then to Korea and finally in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam War. Model is 20" inches long when built, has movable elevators and cranes, full decals and flags and has an airwing of S-2 Trackers and HH-3 Seaking Helicopters.
