Second issue from Pyro molds for very high mold quality. Nicely detailed full hull kit. Designed from the original blueprints furnished by the American President Lines. Has markings for the Ocean Liners SS President Wilson or SS President Cleveland. These fine ships sailed to exotic Pacific ports and did at least one Round-The-World Cruise each year. At the time the kit was made, they were the only two ocean liners flying the American flag.

1957/58 issue in excellent condition. Box color and gloss are as new and all four corners are solid. This box art was first created in 1956 and the kit wore the rectangular logo. Please note that the Aurora Sunburst with 'Famous Fighters' is placed in the yellow rectangle where that logo had been. This was also the last issue with the 'Famous Fighters Of All Nations' logo which is seen on the lower left. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, they planned a series of very large scale bombers. All kits released up to this time had been small. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a big sales success.
