Still factory sealed. Hard to find motorized scale kit of the huge aircraft carrier. Has 343 parts. Kit features detailed AA guns, full air wing, motor drive on two shafts through a metal gearbox and a electric motor. The Shinano was originally laid down as the third unit of the Yamato class super battleships; but the carrier losses at Midway prompted the Japanese to convert the hull into a huge aircraft carrier, the Shinano.

Rare. With the early full color 'The Aurora Line' rectangular logo. Although not dated, the logo tells us that it is from 1954/1955. The box has as-new color and gloss, four solid corners and general light wear as shown. This trailer features a trailer with dual tires, front mount refrigeration condenser and engine, separately molded suspension and wheels, mud flaps, auxiliary wheels and 5th wheel. The White 3000 truck features frame construction with separately molded suspension, dual and single wheels, gas tanks, 5th wheel coupler, interior and two piece cab. Decals are furnished for the truck and trailer. Molded in silver (trailer) and bright, dark red (truck) and with black rubber tires. Inside, the kit is like new. All parts are still factory sealed in the crinkle bags. Decals and instructions are in 'excellent' condition.

First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This was the only year with this logo, which was quickly replaced in 1957 with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' version. This is a large 1/48 scale kit that was issued after Aurora purchased the molds from Helicopters for Industry. Molded in a beautiful dark gloss blue and clear. The kit has never been started. The kit has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts. Correct early decals and instructions are also included.
