New in the box and rare in this condition. It has never been run, cleaned or polished. The engine is 'free.' I can find no evidence of use. However, the prop nut has wear, so it has had a prop fitted to it at some point, which means it was probably put in a model that never flew. Serial number is 44252, and the box has this number hand-written in the proper blank spot by the factory inspector 'WB' who hand initialed it. Includes the box in 'very good' complete condition, one ignition wire, Ohlsson & Rice Manual in excellent condition, 1945 Parts List in excellent condition and Ohlsson & Rice Guarantee Card in near mint condition. There is no coil or condenser.

Very rare, especially when found in new in the box. From the late 1940s or early 1950s. The box in in 'very good++' condition. General wear is the only flaw. The display box folds very nicely so you can show it either way. It has never been flown. It is designed for a McCoy 29 size engine (not included). NOTE: this kit has very minor assembly. Final fitting and trimming was done to the wooden center spar and the bell crank was fit to the spar. Quality of work is 'excellent' and the spar fits perfectly now. There has been no other assembly. The model has been inventoried with all airplane parts present, the Duro-Matic booklet 'Speed Tips", large fold-out plans/instructions and additional fuel tank instructions. NOTE: missing decal. This kit must be shipped insured.

This is the one-piece flip up box of the 'Stratotanker' - not really a tanker model at all, but a nice kit of the famous Dash-80 Prototype 707, the worlds first commercially-successful airliner.
