Big 32.25 inch wingspan kit for control line or RC conversion - .19 to .35 size engines. Features custom spun aluminum cowling, all die-cut and inter-notched plywood and balsa parts, pre-shaped and notched leading and trailing edges, maple motor mounts, wire landing gear, scale wheels, hardware pack, silkspan, big decal sheet and plans with instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they were very complete and well made.

This model features a perfect 'Mono-Foil' factory finished wing, gray painted die-cut parts, gray covering tissue, gray plastic cowling, strip stock as required, rubber motor, die-cut clear canopy material, finished and painted wheels, fully formed wire landing gear, sandpaper, excellent decals, early small Monogram catalog, excellent brochure on how to balance and fly your model and full size plans with step-by-step instructions. This model comes with full size plans, very detailed assembly instructions (unusual for these types of kits), tissue, wood stock, printwood, block, pre-carved wheels and thrust bearing, rubber band, metal prop axle, colorful cut out insignia for markings, pilot, cockpit and engine and templates for motor cowl, front and side canopies, air intakes, tail wheel fairing and gear doors.
