Includes real sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece roof, three piece roof walk, car ends, floor and undercarriage, factory painted and lettered sides for Sante Fe (Tuscan Red with black and white), three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, grab irons, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are excellent. The roof, floor, ends, doors and car sides are very flat and straight for easy assembly. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

The Borax company commissioned this kit as a tie-in to the TV series 'Death Valley Days'. This box is in exceptional condition because it never had the mailing address glued to it or torn off. Never started. The wagons are still in the factory sealed bag and the mules are still sealed as well. Includes instructions. Originally a radio program, 'Death Valley Days' had a long run on television and ended as one of the longest running westerns in entertainment history. Very nice kit of the famous borax wagons that would cross 162 miles of Death Valley with 20 mules in the days before the railroad. There was not a single house or other sign of habitation along the route. One leg was 60 miles with no water. The two wagons carried 25 tons of Borax and the mules covered 16 to 18 miles a day with a two man crew. The sturdy wagons were purpose built for the trip. Although they carried huge loads, there is no record of one every being stranded.

The actual kit is the 1977 first issue 'tall box' with desirable Diorama Instructions. "Poor" box but an ideal builder kit. Features excellent detail inside and out with full interior, optional position bomb bay doors with bomb load, rotating turrets and elevating guns, optional position crew hatch, and rotating props. This issue comes with decals for the following aircraft: 'Dog Daze' or 'Leroy's Joy.' The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes very good decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Rare, and especially so in this condition. 1964 hardbox issue. This is the large ex-Comet F-104. In the early 1960s Aurora obtained Comet's line of molds. Comet, as was their custom, had made two of most kits - a smaller scale and a larger scale. Aurora reissued both F-104s - the 1/110 small scale and this 1/62 larger scale version. Aurora did not make many of the 1/62 edition and possibly only issued them once - this is probably due to the fact that Lindberg and Hawk already had excellent 1/48 scale F-104 kits on the market.
