This high performance follow-up to the F-102 enjoyed a successful and long service life; I can remember seeing them in 'Alert 5' shelters at the Florida Air National Guard base at Jacksonville International in the 1980s. Of course, this is the limited edition "City of Jacksonville" specially decorated Dart, complete with the very large special decals sheet for this wild paint job. Kit is well detailed and features external tanks, optional position missile bay doors and a full load of Falcon Aim-4 E/F Air-to-Air Missiles. Never started. The Walrus was the first British Naval Spotter aircraft to be built for carrier use after the end of WWI. First flown in 1920, the Walrus was a very reworked DH-9. It carried a new engine and a new rear fuselage for the observer in the lower 'bath tub'. The wings were detachable on either side of the center for storage. Very high quality kit with detail better than many injection molded kits. Has full interior detail. Includes full decals, many cast metal details and plenty of shaped strut material. Complete and never started.

All parts look as new, and the chrome is in mint condition as well. The instructions look excellent. The decals are intact but look bad. The box is 100% complete but has very heavy wear. Ideal builder.
