This is likely the second issue of this UPC kit as it has the correct box art showing the F-86D. The first issue contained a rather graphic error - it pictures F-86 Sabrejets on the box - not the F-86D 'Dog version. The enclosed kit is from the original Marusan F-86D model mold, which is known for it's action features and accessories, and the UPC reissue includes them all. Kit has removable radome to display the radar, opening canopy, removable tail section with dolly and detailed jet engine with engine stand, operating leading edge slats, operating wing flaps, moving control surfaces, retracting landing gear, retracting/extending missile tray, boarding ladder, and extra missiles with missile cart. Great kit from 1977 has motorized moving light up signs in four colors. You can use the signs with the kit or material is included to make your own moving signs! Includes all needed parts except batteries. Has pre-wired electrical harness, motor, light bulbs, sign material, etc. The batteries are inside the blimp, so it can be displayed and operated while hanging or placed on a display stand. NOTE: This model has been assembled. Quality of assembly is excellent (done by an IPMS master modeler). The kit has not been painted and the decals have not been applied. All messages, blank paper and instructions are present and in excellent condition. NOTE: missing the stand. He was planning on hanging the blimp up for display and operation.

Built up kit. Excellent restoration project. This original Aurora kit features the clear two-piece "Globe" triangle stand, Batman and Robin in the cockpit (as one piece), tricycle landing gear, nose probe, clear canopy and "Bat Wing" main gear door covers. The kit has never been painted but has been built. The glue was so old or of such poor quality that the kit simply fell apart. Includes original stand with stand decal applied. Quality of assembly was only fair. The modeler will need to sand and compound some glue smears, but much of the glue flakes off with a fingernail. Clear canopy was never put on and has no glue marks at all. NOTE: missing one horizontal stabilizer.

1973 "White Box" issue of this classic large-scale "Action Model" from the original "Four Star" Monogram line. Canopy opens and closes to show highly detailed cockpit. Tiny levers under the wings drop 2 bombs. Knob on the bottom rotates and extends/retracts main gear and tailwheel; all gear doors including the tailwheel open and close automatically with the gear. Not only do these features sound great, but they work. My built kit is 30 years old and functions like new! Great detail. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts/decals and instructions present.
