From 1961. This is a highly detailed RC kit with instructions in German and English. The kit contains four large full size sheets of beautifully drawn planes, full decals, a great many plastic parts for fast assembly, die cut balsa wood and plywood parts, pre-bent metal wire landing struts, UHU glues, wheel set, hardware, decals and more. NOTE: Although the box says FW-190, this is only a TA-152 H-1 kit. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts, plans and decals.

As you may well know, AMT marketed Frog kits in the USA under the AMT-Frog label. But what is less known is that Frog also marketed Hasegawa kits in the UK, but with no Hasegawa identification. What is even less well known are the Hasegawa kits marketed in Japan using Frog molds. This Me-110 is one of those kits. The front logo does mention Frog in the lower left if you look closely. From the late 1950s/early 1960s. Nicely done model of the original Charger that Milt Boone won the Nationals and other contests with. Includes die-cut select balsa and hardwood parts, and other parts finished to shape (trailing and leading edges), pre-bent wire landing gear, hardware and much more. Very stable design…and it had to be for the equipment available at that time. In the RC 'rudder only' category, the airplane received directional commands but other than that, it flew itself. 272 G100 and F102 Elephants were produced. Originally designed as a fighter, they served during WWI on the Western Front, Palestine (as an Australian Squadron) and in Mesopotamia. It was obvious that the aircraft did not have good fighter qualities, but the Elephant did perform well on reconnaissance, ground attack and bombing missions. They were phased out of combat in 1917, and the last one left service in 1919. Very highly detailed moldings with full interior. Includes metal details, strut material and full decals. Never started.
