Very early Tamiya kit with a high-gloss box top and very collectible artwork. Very good quality for it's time. Features all very fine raised panel lines, working flaps, rudder, ailerons and elevator, detailed engine, retractable landing gear, retractable landing gear, opening canopy and external drop tanks. The kit is engineered to be motorized and includes all hardware to do so, but Tamiya did not include the motor with the model. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Can be built 'stock' with RAAF decals and as a wild custom racing plane with decals with customizing accessories. This kit is from quality Airfix molds and is one of the MPC issues with custom decals and the unique clear modular display stand. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models.

Still factory sealed. Very high quality kit. Please note that the other Monogram Packards are 1930s, and Monogram took advantage of the multi-media composition to issue this as a 1931 Packard. This model has the body, front and rear fenders and hood cast in metal, while the remainder is injection molded in clear, chrome plated, white and gray parts with real rubber tires. Features detailed engine, complete rolling chassis just like the real car, complete drive line and exhaust detail, full interior, folding luggage rack, complete engine compartment and removable hood and optional 'top up' or 'top lowered' boot.

Hard to find first issue from 1969. Mold quality is excellent as is typical with the first issue. (Molds become worn as reissued are made and detail becomes less crisp and flash appears.) This is the finest large scale injection molded kit of the legendary workhorse. Model actually comes apart and each sequence configuration of the Apollo Mission can be demonstrated with this model: Lift Off, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, separation, docking, lunar orbit, lunar module separation, lunar descent, lunar exploration, lunar lift-off, docking, starting for earth, separation, and reentry/recovery. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box condition is excellent and it does have normal shelf wear.

This is the 1968 release of this kit, which may have only been issued twice. The Boeing SST was modeled here in the second (-200) variant which still had the swing-wing design which proved impractical in this aircraft. The damaging effects of sonic booms over population centers ultimately contributed to the cancellation of the project. Nicely molded with all recessed panel lines.
