Rare first release from 1950s. Excellent condition box with the first West Hempstead logo (The Brooklyn logo with WH substituted in) and 'Famous Fighters of All Nations' on the box top. Kit is molded in the correct glossy metallic dark blue and clear and has the correct rectangular stand and the Tatem Company decals with no stand logo. Instructions are correct for this issue also, and the flip side shows the limited kits available at this time. Instructions and decals are in exceptional condition. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

Very rare. Pyro's first ship kits were the BB Missouri, CA Chicago, CV Shangri-La and DD Sumner in the early 1950s. This example is in exceptional condition for it's age. The one-piece box is sound and the colors are as new. It is molded in dark gray and black plastic. The scale is no listed, but the built model is about 12 inches long. The unopened original tube of glue is included. The kit has never been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. Please note that the three larger ships all came in the same box. Pyro stamped the kit contents on the side of the box.

Very early Berkeley kit. Helldiver features 24 inch wingspan, unique 'Automatic Bomb-Release During Flight', turned balsa cowl, die-cut 'Airtex' parts, decals, 'Adjust-O-Pitch' prop and full size plans. Rubber powered model. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.

1959 first and only issue of this classic and rare kit. This example is 100% complete as it came from the factory - right down to the factory glue and the cardboard that it was taped to. The box is in excellent condition with great color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or price tags and no missing or torn litho. Contains models of 18 aircraft all to a constant 1/240 scale. Features 102 very finely molded parts. All aircraft are modeled in flight configuration that is accurate down to the wing angle on the B-52. The completed kits are displayed on a large blue base with all aircraft riding on thin metal 'Flight Wires'. The paperwork is complete and the large decal sheet, instructions and Air Power book are in near mint to mint condition. The factory glue is present and not used - the cardboard that it was taped to is present also. The model has never been started. Complete with all parts for all 18 aircraft. There are no broken parts. Shipping insurance is required on this item.

Please read carefully as this kit has some assembly. Very rare 1958 'S' issue. Features two missiles with removable boosters, swiveling and elevating launcher and crew. NOTE: this kit has assembly. One of the missiles, the four launcher side rails halves, center rail support and four side rail support rods have been assembled. There is no other assembly and no parts have been painted. Decals have not been used. Quality of assembly is slightly above average. There are minimal gaps and very little but not excessive)visible glue - mainly on the flat top and bottom of the large launch rails. All parts are present. The original decal sheet and instructions are intact and excellent. The box would grade much higher than 'Good-', but there are tape tears on the sides.

1969 hardbox issue. In the late 1960s/early 1970s, Aurora realized that it needed to produce new and better kits if they were to stay in business. Several helicopters, aircraft and ships were released with markedly improved mold quality from the older kits. The HH-3 is one of those kits. The result is a very nice scale kit with fine molded detail. Never started. Factory sealed box/bag or 100% inventoried with all parts decals and instructions present. NOTE: one engine inlet is a lighter green. It is correct for the Aurora Jolly Green, but is from a later issue.

1991 issue of the famous Monogram Four Star Model from the late 1950s. The Cyclone was very dependable and powered numerous famous aircraft, the DC-3 and B-17 being just a few. Very highly detailed. Molded in three colors as the original and has all the same working features: movable prop, extra parts to show cutaway working piston and tilting test stand. The kit has never been started. The parts that Revell sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried and are missing the following: one engine stand lockpin (#65), one engine stand bushing (#65) and two (#36) piston halves. The piston halves are not visible unless you use the optional cut away cylinder, and the bushing and pin can be made from stock materials. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions present. Mold swapping between Revell and Monogram started soon after the same European holding company bought them both.

First issue of this all time classic. Hardbox is dated 1961. Widely considered to be one of the best visible airplane action kits ever made. Features a full cut away model with interior detail. Buttons on the base activate two motors that make the prop spin, and the main gear and tail wheel retract and extend. Two other levers on the base drop the wing bombs. Inside, this kit is in mint condition. All of the special presentation cardboard is as new and the two motors are still sealed. The kit is molded in the correct first edition shades of clear, red, black, silver and zinc chromate green. The kit has never been started and is inventoried complete with all parts present. Instructions and decals are correct for the first issue and feature the 'Horse' stand decal.

The model is still internally sealed in styrofoam - it has never been removed.
