This kit includes the hard-to-find Piedmont and Pacific Airlines decals which were only available separately as a mail-in order from Revell. Hardbox is dated 1961, making this the second issue of this kit, retaining the beautiful 'S' artwork. Well detailed kit includes moving rudder, flaps and elevators, rotating wheels and props, Fairchild decals and loading ramp. Never started. All parts and original paperwork are still sealed in the factory internal bag.

Features two missiles with removable boosters, swiveling and elevating launcher, crew of three and instrumentation equipment. The missiles are molded in white and the launcher in medium gray. The Do-23 was the first genuine bomber in the resurgent Luftwaffe. Do-23 aircraft made up the bulk of the Kampfverbande (bomber units) along with the Ju-52 Auxiliary Bomber. Although the Do-23 was quickly phased out by the faster Do-17, Ju-86 and He-111, they remained in service for training, mine sweeping and insecticide spraying on the Eastern Front up till 1932. This kit has not been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts. Not recommended for builders who are not experienced with vacuform kits and scratchbuilding.

16 inch wingspan kit for free flight or control line. Includes innovative system for automatically dropping bombs in flight. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they featured color decals, high-grade die cut balsa, vacuform plastic detail parts, plastic wheels (if required), finished wire landing gear, rubber motor and plastic prop, full size plans with instruction details and instructions for conversion to control line. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete including decals and instructions.
