Large scale Jake from classic Marusan molds. Scott Eidson, who did the famous artwork for Revell, did many UPC box covers including this one. The model features moving rudder, elevator and ailerons, folding wings, crew, optional position canopy, elevating and trainable tail gun, depth charges and beaching dolly. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

From the mid to late 1930s. New old stock from a closed down hobby shop. Because they are in 'new' condition, the end flaps and tabs are in great condition with no tears or rips. I was the first one to open them and did so very carefully to avoid all damage. Features 18 inch wingspan, quality balsa printwood and wood stock, fully carved hardwood wheels, partially carved prop blank (needs sanding), balsa blocks as required, covering tissue and detailed, full size plans that include instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.
