In fantastic 'near mint' condition. Completely original and untouched. Completely straight- zero plastic warping. This is an early issue with four clear headlight covers (not the chromed ones). 100% complete with 'near mint' paint, 'near mint' original chrome, whitewall tires and working torsion bar suspension. It has not been cleaned. Will be shipped in a clear 1/25 scale car case with a gray base.

Kit is still factory sealed. Bag has a tear at right, but all small metal parts are in an internally sealed bag and all other parts are present. Very high quality vac kit. Features excellent moldings, full decals for both airplanes and many metal details. Kit is of Type 529 VX136 or VX133. Initially designed as an undercarriage-less aircraft for use from the 'flexible deck' aircraft carrier being though of at the time. Interest was quickly lost in the flexible deck and the Admiralty ask for real landing gear. This was easily incorporated into the design, and the 508 was born. The aircraft has folding wings, an offset nosewheel, two very early 'Avon' engines and a unique variable incidence tail. Performance was good, and the 3rd prototype was given swept wings...which gave birth to the Scimitar fighter.

1999 reissue of the highly detailed original 'S' kits molds from the 1950s. has 304 parts and measures 17.75 inches long when assembled. The Olympia is still docked as a museum ship and was Flagship of Dewey and veteran of the Battle of Manila Bay. As with all Revell ship molds cut in the late 1950s, this model is a masterpiece of detail. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Includes the large and impressive Gold Medal Models Brass Photoetched set "1/540 Forrestal/Midway/Essex" detail set. It is mint, never used and includes full illustrated instructions. The actual kit is still factory sealed but the seal has splits on the bottom. This is the 1971 reissue of the famous 'S' kit. The box retains the "S" artwork but has pictures of other ships on the side. Full hull model with propeller and rudder detail, moving elevators, crane and antenna booms. Includes an airwing of 18 with helicopters, A3D Skywarriors, FJ Furys, F7U Cutlass and Banshee aircraft.

SALE!! 1974 issue. Box has damage and wear as shown - excellent builder. Hard to find kit of the last WWII carrier class with John Steele artwork from the 'Picture Fleet' series. Nicely done full hull model features detailed island, 26 aircraft including Skyraiders, Corsairs, Cougars and helicopters, nicely engraved flight deck, stand, decals and flags. NOTE: the ship is complete but (2) Corsairs have been neatly built and painted, and three prop/cowls are missing. There is no other assembly or painting and the kit has been inventoried with all other parts, decals, flags and instructions present. Although designed for the Pacific battles, the Midway and her sisters did not see service in WWII. The Midway was the first surface ship to launch a ballistic missile. She and her sisters served proudly in the post-war years until replaced by the super-carriers.

UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
