Early 1960s kit that is scaled from US Army photos. Includes operating front shield sight and rolling wheels and measures about 8.5 inches long when assembled. One tree is brass plated and the other parts silver plastic. NOTE: the kit has minor assembly. The gun barrel halves are assembled; quality of assembly is excellent. There is no other assembly. NOTE: missing (1) of (2) brake blocks. This is a simple part to make. Inventoried with all other parts present and instructions. Palmer made a range of five field gun kits which included the Gatling Gun, Civil War Field Piece, Revolutionary War Cannon, Naval Cannon and 75mm World War I Artillery Piece. The original issues contained brass plated parts and chain or rope as necessary. The economy line was issued without brass plating or chain. Finally, there was a deluxe series that included extra parts such as limbers, carriers and caisson. Life-Like eventually purchased the molds and reissued the line in the mid to late 1970s, and Encore reissued some of them in 1993.

It is well detailed for an ex-CCCP kit, featuring about 110 parts, working bogie wheels, flexible tracks, elevating gun and rotating turret. The kit has never been started. This kit and the entire armor line from Ogonjek came in regular and motorized versions; this is the regular version.

Excellent, large scale kit. Features fully carved and machined hardwood hull that is about 90% finished, a very large number of metal fittings, pre-cut and machined wood as well as wood stock, instructions and excellent full sized planes. The kit has never been started and is 99% complete. Includes hull, all wooden parts and may be missing some fittings. I say 'may' because there is a factory note inside that says "Due to a shortage of strategic material, we have been force to discontinue our complete fittings set." They do, however, provide a complete fittings list so you know what you need. I have inventoried the fittings against the list and very few are gone. You will need to provide the following: grate, two tiny eyebolts, 1 davit, one prop, 2 lifeboats and one ladder. The rest are present.

It is normally molded in gloss silver and clear and has the "Sh-Boom" early issue style decals.
