Very rare, especially in this condition. Original hardbox issue dated 1961. It features very good color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or tape marks (except the factory sealing tape), the original price tag on the left side, no torn litho and no fading. Flaws include light general wear as shown in the photo. This is a one-owner kit that was purchased new in Lexington, KY on November 1, 1962. Features detailed engine and compartment, opening hood, molded underside detail with separate torsion-aire suspension, complete interior and numerous 'Hi-Style' accessories to make a custom of your choice. Molded in white, clear, chrome plate and with real rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The parts and all paperwork are still in the internal factory sealed bag.

From the early 1950s. Comet advertises that the Struct-O-Speed series 'Puts Itself Together...That Quick!' on the box top. These kits were very highly prefabricated for their time, and in comparison to the regular stick and tissue models, the claim is not unfounded. Features die-cut balsa wood main parts, about 12 inch wingspan, finished wooden wheels, paper insignia and full plans/instructions. Never started. NOTE: missing prop. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and instructions. Die-cut wooden parts have not been punched out and are intact in the sheets.

Please note that this kit has no PA code, has the Mattel logo and has an ad for the Skystick accessory. This classic large-scale model is highly detailed with great working features. Remote levers drop bombs and a single underwing knob retracts and extends the main gear and the tail wheel and all gear doors open and close. Excellent cockpit detail with opening canopy.

Very rare Revell of Japan Issue hardbox dated 1965. Nice model of the Navy B-24. As with most Revell Japan issues, this one has special features unique to this kit. First, there is the amazing and unique artwork, which should be titled "Near Miss." Also includes paint guide and decals for two variants where as the USA issue only had one. Has many action features: landing gear retracts and extends, control surfaces move, guns elevate and turrets rotate, wheels and props spin, flaps extend/retract, 4 crew and has optional position side gunner's position (open or closed). Molded in dark blue and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'very good' grade but is graded as such because there are short pieces of masking tape on the long and short sides.
