Still in the original Dumas factory box. This model builds TWO barges that are 43" x 7.75" by 3.25 inches. One barge is raked bow and one is box style. Features die-cut plywood, other hardwood parts and even includes metal deck cleats. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, plans and instructions present. Please NOTE that these are in the original Dumas boxes and they are very sturdy; Dumas ships them in these boxes (with no outer box). The shipping price you receive will be for shipping them exactly as they do (without an other box). The website will give you a USPS price; UPS will likely be cheaper so if you prefer that, let us know and we can work up a manual quote. If you would like the model put in another box, then the price of shipping will be higher as it will be larger and heavier. Please note that this kit comes in a huge box, so the shipping will not be cheap.

From the mid to late 1940s. All-wood, 9 inch long model kit of this renown high-speed American Clipper Ship. This is a very nice effort by Continental. The ship is 9 inches long when assembled. The hull had been very neatly factory machine cut to the overhead (beam) dimensions. Also includes one sheets of printwood, many other wood parts for the deck houses, masts and yards, full color insignia sheet with the ships name and many US flags and excellent full size plans with very good rigging diagrams and instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and paperwork. Continental had several ship lines; this 'H' line consists of H1 USS Missouri Battleship, H2 Aircraft Carrier USS Wasp, H3 LST (Landing Ship Tank), H4 Coast Guard Cutter Campbell, H5 USS Fletcher Destroyer and H6 Clipper Ship The Seawitch.

Excellent kit from the 1950s that measures 10.5 inches long when assembled. StromBecker was famous for this line of pre-carved wood kits. Made of solid Western Pine hardwood - not balsa. The carving is done to the final shape. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: Missing rear subdeck. I have included a full-size tracing of this part and included the measurements on the drawing. Otherwise complete with all other parts and instructions.
