This marked the beginning of Tamiya's reputation for high-quality, detailed models. Very early Tamiya Mokei kit dated 1964 with a high-gloss box top and very collectible artwork. Very good quality for that time and features all very fine raised panel lines, working flaps, rudder, ailerons & elevator, detailed engine, retractable landing gear, retractable landing gear, opening canopy and external drop tanks. The kit is engineered to be motorized and includes all hardware to do so, but as was the rule back then, Tamiya required the motor to be sold separately. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The bags still have the Tamiya paper headers in 'excellent' condition and even the factory glue is included.
