OMK is proud to offer some of the best Tamiya Model Kits, featuring military model kits, aircraft, car kits, tank model kits and more. Founded in 1946 by Yoshio Tamiya in Shizuoka, Japan, Tamiya has become a leading manufacturer of plastic model kits. Initially producing wooden models, Tamiya transitioned to plastic in the 1960s, launching its first plastic kit, a 1:800 scale model of the battleship Yamato. This marked the beginning of Tamiya's reputation for high-quality, detailed models. In 1967, Tamiya introduced the iconic 1:12 scale Honda F1, which showcased their commitment to realism and craftsmanship.
