Rare hardbox kit from 1961 has fantastic artwork of an RAF Canberra flying over 'The Rock'. Based on the 1950s B-57 "S" kit, the Whip-Fly Canberra comes with RAF decals, flight ballast, control handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions included. The box would grade slightly higher than 'excellent' but it rated as such because there is residue from old tape on the two long sides. Included in the famous 'Whip Fly' series are the H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra and H156 F-101A Voodoo. Although not listed yet, there was also a Whip-Fly Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home around groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

Still factory sealed. This very rare Lodela issue is the only Revell kit to include both rockets. The outside of the box lists the kits as 1/110 scale, but the US Army Redstone is usually listed as 1/110 scale and the Jupiter C as 1/100 scale. This is a special edition celebrating the 30th year of Lodela / Revell. One long box side has a very color dispaly advertising Lodela plastic model cemtn and Lodela 'Pinturas' model paints in a box set.

First release 1953 hardbox pre 'S' kit and the first ship model that Revell cut their own molds for. Earlier Revell ship releases were very small scale sailing shps from ex-Gowland & Gowland molds. This kit was so popular for so long that many believe it was Revell's best selling ship model of all time. Inside, the kit is molded in the correct gloss medium gray plastic. It has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, correct flag sheet and the correct instructions. Please note that Revell did not furnish decals with this issue.

Includes the 'Everything Is Go' booklet telling the story of the Friendship 7/Lt. Col. Glenn Flight. This kit was modified from the Atlas Ballistic Missile molds. Rare original hardbox issue from 1958; not the common 1990s reproduction. This is a superb model for that time and features working flexible treads, rotating turret with elevating gun, optional position hatches, four troops and more. Never started. All parts, decals and instructions have been inventoried 100% complete and are correct for this early issue. NOTE: one side of the upper hull is cracked. It fits back together perfectly. Please note that the box displays slightly higher than the 'very good++' grade but is rated as such because there are two short (1/2" long) closed tears on the bottom of the lower right short side.
