Rare 1955-56 'S' issue and even rarer in never started & complete condition. This issue has the Japanese kill markings on the nose which makes it the second release of this kit. Inside, the kit is 100% correct, being molded in gloss olive drab & clear plastic and with the famous Revell Swivel Display Base. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The decals and instructions are both in 'excellent+' condition; the decals have minor micro-cracking on the national insignia.

1991 issue of this large and well detailed model featuring 173 pieces, all fine recessed panel line detail, very good cockpit with optional position canopy, detailed gear wells, excellent inlet and exhaust, extensive air-to-air weapons loadout and more. Includes a very large decal sheet for all three aircraft versions. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the decals have been very neatly, 'adult' cut in half so they could fit in a zip lock for safe keeping. All of the actual transfers are in fine condition- he cut neatly around them so there is no damage.

The model actually comes apart and each sequence configuration of the Apollo Mission can be demonstrated with this model: Lift Off, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, separation, docking, lunar orbit, lunar module separation, lunar descent, lunar exploration, lunar lift-off, docking, starting for earth, separation, and reentry/recovery. Includes a clear panel so you can view the stowed lunar module.

From the original Monogram molds and an excellent model featuring a pilot figure, 'good' cockpit, optional position canopy, drop tank, bomb and missile loadout, full landing gear and more. There is a full paint guide and decals for two aircraft; one of them is the very colorful red-and-white striped one on the box art and all of the striping is included on the decal sheet. Never started. The parts are either still sealed in the factory bag or have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions. The instructions have some bug damage but nothing that would interfere with using them for assembly.

Rare original issue from 1955. This kit has some of my favorite Revell 'S' artwork and is incredibly well detailed for that time. Features a one-piece hull and one-piece main deck, oil hatches, piping, chocks, windlass & valve detail, winches, pipe line davits, fore and midship catwalks, detailed midship and rear superstructure including skylight showing some engine detail, stairways, ventilators, masts & booms, davits & ships boats, anchors, jackstaff & flagstaff, rudder and more. Inside, the model has never been started. The kit has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, flag sheet and instructions. The box had two closed split corners. NOTE: pieces #21 and #22 (rear side railings) are a different color plastic. They are from a later issue of this same model.

Still factory sealed and from 2011. It is made from the famous Long Beach 'S' kit molds and is an ideal 'Classic Builder.' Large 1/108 scale model features full hull with propeller & rudder, detailed superstructure, complete deck fittings, railings, bow and side bumpers, lifeboat, whistles, crew members and much more. The Long Beach (and her sisters) were built in Decatur, Alabama in 1943 and was one of a fleet of tugs operated by the Wilmington Transportation Company. She had a registered length of 81.1 feet and a beam of 24 feet. Gross tonnage was 146 inches and she drew 8 feet of water. Powered by a 700 hp diesel, the range was just over 3,500 miles.

1987 reissue of the original 1967 kit. Very nicely done kit. Features 20 SBDs, 20" long hull, movable cranes and optional position elevators. The box art shows the wartime finish, but the kit contains decals for this or the prewar high-vis finish. The kit has never been started. Inside it is still factory bag sealed and includes decals and instructions. The Yorktown was one of three prewar sister carriers along with Enterprise (CV-6) and Hornet (CV-8). The Yorktown saw extensive action in the Coral Sea and underwent temporary repairs in record time so she could take part in the Battle of Midway. Damaged by bombs and eventually a spread of submarine-fired 'Long Lance' torpedoes, she was lost after an epic struggle to save the ship.

Still factory 'round tape' sealed. Large kit with very highly detailed interior and extensive decals. The Type XXI U-Boats were the world's first true submarines; they could travel at high speeds for great distances underwater and attack without visual contact with the targets. The 'snort' allowed them to recharge the batteries and renew the air, eliminating the last needs for surfacing. A development of the Walther Peroxide Boats, the XXIs were seen as a faster way to put a more advanced submarine into service.

Rare, Pre 'S' issue dated 1955 and the first release of this superb model. Please note the deep blue background and stars next to the kit highlights near the box top bottom. The hardbox shows the storyboard history of the ship on the yellow side panels; this was not repeated on any other issue. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed and this kit is no exception When this kit was released, it was so far ahead of any other plastic model ship kit even considered that it remained a favorite for over three decades; even by today's standards it is of high quality. Features a full hull, all deck fittings, carriages and cannons on both decks, ship's boat with seats & oars, fife rails, all deadeyes & chainstays, multi-piece masts, Revell's famous preformed ratlines and much more. Includes a display stand, name plate, rigging instructions and even scale, full color flags from the Signal Code Of the US Navy 1864. Never started. The black parts are still sealed in the factory bag; the tan parts are not sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes large-format, fold-out assembly & rigging instructions with a history of the ship, standing rigging material and even two small metal (plain; not decorated) tubes of unopened glue that are still in the factory sealed bag with the black parts.

1956 first issue with the hardbox in beautiful 'Excellent++ condition. It has factory-new gloss and color, four solid corners, no price tags or marks from them, no tape or tape marks (none at all - this box escaped the factory tape sealing machine), no fading or creases, no torn litho and no stains. The flaws are light edge wear and tiny chips and corner wear. Molded in the correct gloss dark green and clear with clear Revelving Globe stand. The kit has never been started. Inside, all the small parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The larger parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. The decals and instructions are 'near mint+' condition with typical light yellowing as the only flaw.

This 'S' hardbox issue is dated 1956, but from the price extension of '349', it is most likely from about 1958/1959. Very well detailed and molded large kit that features a full, one-piece hull, complete propeller and rudder detail, moving Elevators, crane and antenna booms, separately molded anti-aircraft guns and directors, detailed island structure with sensor suite, and much more. Includes an Air Wing of helicopters, A3D Skywarriors, FJ Furys, F7U Cutlass and Banshee aircraft. The kit has never been started. Inside, the parts are still in the Revell factory sealed bag, which is most unusual. This must have been right around the first time that Revell started to experiment with sealing the parts inside such a large kit. Rare true first issue of this kit dated 1959 and in exceptional condition inside and out. Large and highly detailed she measures 36 inches long when assembled. The box is not perfect but is among the better that I have ever seen. It has excellent color and gloss, zero price tags, no fading and no tape or tape marks other than the factory sealing tape. There is light general wear, the stain just above the 'Y' on the box top, a factory tape litho pull (1.25" x .5") on the top long side and 2 partially split corners. Amazingly, this kit is still the 'standard' that other large-scale plastic sailing ships models are measured by. Since this is the first issue, the model has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. The factory paint is in amazing 'near mint' condition. Since this is a first edition it also contains the booklet about the Cutty Sark. Features highly detailed deck, deck houses, cargo holds and removable covers, masts, yards and booms, bilge pump, windlass, 20 crew figure, lifeboats with oars, life preservers, anchors and anchor chains. Includes draftline and transom decals, figurehead, finely detailed hull, preformed ratlines and molded deadeyes, pin rails and blocks, full standing rigging instructions & diagrams, two thicknesses each of cotton cord for running & standing rigging and metal chain. Molded in three colors - black, ivory/white and dark swirl wood tan. The kit has never been started. Beside the hull, all parts are in the rare factory internal box which is almost never present. Even the original factory packing tissue is present. Inventoried with all parts, 'excellent++' condition decals, instructions and rigging plans present. Just an item of interest - if you have built this amazing kit, you know that often some of the incredibly fine parts are broken in shipment from the Revell factory. Well, that happened to this the original owner and he wrote Revell; and they sent him replacements! They are still in the original 'Revell' shipping box which cost 3 cents to mail. The parts are still inside in the factory bag. This kit must be shipped insured.
