This is one of the final 'S' kits and is dated 1960; the red and yellow "S" Cement logos are on all four side panels. Like most early Revell sailing ship models, the molds were cut by true craftsman and builds into a beautiful model. Features crisp details, excellent mold quality, full hull with simulated wood planking and copper plates below the waterline, one piece main deck, sail lockers, fife rails, cleats, capstans, windlass, fresh water barrels, detailed deck houses, bilge pump, cargo hatches, skylights, wheelhouse & wheel, ladders, rear railings, ship's boats & davits, figurehead, fore & aft catheads, anchors, three piece masts with separately molded crows nests and cross trees, separately molded yard arms & jibs, realistic deadeye & chainstay assemblies, Revell's famous pre-formed ratlines, vacuform billowing sails, rigging thread, rigging instructions and even a display stand. Inside, the kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, flags and instructions present. Even includes a very colorful unopened metal tube of original "S" Glue. NOTE: part #4 pin rail is broken; but all parts are present and fit back perfectly for a straight-forward repair.

Rare 1958 first issue 'S' hardbox in investment-grade 'Near Mint' box condition. It has perfect color and gloss. All four corners are solid and have not been repaired. There is no staining or fading, no missing litho, no price tags or marks and no tape or tape marks (other than very light factory tape marks, of course). Flaws include very light wear, two very light creases that don't even show up in the photo and some very light general wear, mainly on the lower right long side (and on the right of that panel). This model is very highly detailed and features working launcher, opening doors, sliding ladders, rotating wheels, rubber tires, rocket with moving fins, a launch crew of three and much more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Rare 1960s Revell Lodela issue with Sabena markings and unique box artwork. Box art and the kit inside represent an early configuration 707 with turbojets and 'tall' tail. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. There has never been any assembly but NOTE: the fuselage cabin door openings have some glue showing, tut the doors were never glued in. The decals are in remarkable 'near mint' condition. I photographed the good side of the box; on the reverse side there is significant creasing in the lower right corner.

1984 issue of this classic favorite that contains two models in the one box - the famous WWII aircraft carrier and the destroyer. Very well detailed for that time and features 8 Fairey Fulmar aircraft, separately molded guns and gun directors, very good superstructure and flight deck island, davits, lifeboats and more. Never started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: both models can only be built as waterline kits because they are missing the lower hulls, rudder & propellers (for both ships). Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes instructions.

Rare original issue dated 1958 with superb hardbox artwork. The box is in superb investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. This is a very well detailed kit for that time and features good (molded-in) underside detail, rotating wheels, guard rails that convert into seats, opening tailgate, opening cab doors, detailed interior, driver figure and 6 soldiers with reels, duffel bags, radio, rifles, generator, mortar, machine gun and tripod. Very hard-to-find. Still factory sealed and from 1964. Few remember that Revell had a separate line of 1/24 scale Slot Car accessories that sold under the "Winner's Circle Speed Equipment" banner. Revell also packaged Goodyear tires in this same type package; there were other items as well and in both 1/24 and 1/32 scale. These Firestone Sponge Slicks have maximum traction and width and a Shore-hardness raing of 25 (super-soft).

Dated 1977 and a very nice kit for that time. Features full hull, propeller & rudder detail, internal rear boat-launching bay with opening door, 2 landing craft with tanks, 2 CH-26 and 2 UH-1 Helicopters, boat crane, crash crane, moving turrets & Sea Sparrow launchers, 4 launches, excellent flight deck decals and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: while all parts are complete, a short, simple cylindrical shaft is broken off of one propeller shaft/support. This is very easily replaced with wire, pulled sprue or stock plastic.

Includes a factory-sealed True Details 32453 Hawker Hunter F.6 Cockpit Set (ex- KMC 32-3009) designed for this model. This is a complete resin cockpit that includes the ejection seat. The actual model kit is still factory sealed. From 1998 and an excellent model which features 170 pieces, all fine recessed panel lines, very good cockpit with detailed ejection seat, opened or closed canopy, very realistically modeled engine intake & exhaust, detailed gear wells, optional position landing gear, weighted tires, separately molded wing leading edge slats, optional extended or retracted trailing edge wing flaps, optional position speed brake, external fuel tanks & rocket pods and more. Includes detailed, multi-view paint and markings guides & decals for both RAF Squadrons. Never started. The Hunter was the standard RAF fighter during the 1950s. it quickly replaced the Meteor and Venom as it was superior in every way to the first generation jets. During the 1960s, the English Electric Lightning was successfully introduced and the Hunter transitioned into a fighter-bomber role and even aerial reconnaissance. Two-seat variants remained in use for training and secondary roles with the RAF and the Royal Navy until the early 1990s. The Hunter was so successful that almost 2,000 were produced and it saw service in 21 foreign air forces worldwide. Sixty years after its original introduction it was still in active service, being operated by the Lebanese Air Force until 2014.
