1961 hardbox and part of Revell's 'Air Power' issue sporting the original 'S' kit box artwork. Inside, the airplane is from the original 1950s 'S' molds and even has the original decal artwork for The Flying Dragon. Well molded and features rotating turrets and propellers, pilot, copilot and bomber figures and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the smaller parts are a different shade of green color; they are from a later issue of the same kit. The decals are from the "S" issue which means they also have the round stand decal.

Hard to find Revell Takara issue dated 1977 with high-gloss box art unique to this kit. The model is from the same molds as the classic 1950s Pre-S kit. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: horizontal stabilizer halves and jet engine pods. There is no other assembly. This fine model features all parts and markings to make P1Y1, P1Y1a, P1Y2 and PI2-S variants, full interior detail, complete twin-row engines, optional position landing gear, open or closed bomb bay with different bomb or torpedo loads and more. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: upper floor, seats and instrument panels to the main floor. There is no other assembly. 1954 Pre-S release. The Pre-S and S kits are considered the apex of model kit box art and it is easy to see why these kits are so desired and collectible. Molded in the original gloss silver and clear and includes the clear 'Revelving Swivel Base' display stand. Inside, everything is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still in the original sealed bag and the larger parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions both in 'excellent+' condition. The box would grade higher than 'very good+' but there is one tiny closed pencil-point sized hole at the far right (lower) side and two same size closed holes on the short right panel.

1954 Pre-'S' release and among Revell's very earliest ship models. This issue is the 'all gun' version of the Fletcher with the maximum main armament; Revell soon modified the molds to represent the later ships of the class. The beautiful boxart has wear as shown. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and it includes all plastic parts, color flag sheet and instructions. NOTE: the small 'Parts Order Form' has been cut from the instructions. This does not interfere with assembly. NOTE: missing decals.

Rare 1957 original 'S' issue with fantastic artwork. Very nicely detailed model includes drop tanks, strap on boosters, base, launcher and crew of two. Molded in the correct gloss red. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please NOTE that the box displays 'Good' or slightly better but is graded 'Fair' because it has two closed holes near the back of the boosters and a long closed split on the box top running from the lower far left side to the end of the blue logo background on the lower right. There decals are in amazing 'excellent+' condition. The instructions are fine other than the small, closed holes in the instructions from whatever punched the holes in the box.

Rare. Early to mid 1960s 'Custom Car Parts' issue in a very narrow box with a header for hanging. All parts are chrome plated. Never used and complete with all parts and instructions (on the back of the box). Please note this is the 'black background' issue of this kit. Another issue had the parts against a yellow background.

Very rare 1963 kit which is the second and last issue. The artwork is the same as the 'S' kit but the box artwork on the sides is different. Features 3 removable Hawk missiles, 4 man crew, elevating and swiveling launcher, rotating rubber tires, control panel with opening hatches, separate radar scope equipment and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box has excellent color and gloss but has the price tag pull shown at the upper right. The pull extends down a very small amount (1/2" x 1/4") on the right short side as well.

Hard-to-find model in investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. This is the rarer final issue from 1963 and not the "S" issue. For this release, the original box art was retained and the part number and name were changed, while the side panels show Revell's then-new series of 1/72 scale WWII aircraft. Note that the this kit is called 'Tactical Rockets' instead of the original 'Tactical Missiles'. These models are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs,decals and crew of three. Molded in dark olive drab and white plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on it's launcher or transported by helicopter. Length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early 5-foot long wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. An optical rangefinder was used for guidance.

Still factory sealed. 1994 re-release of the 1982 release- which itself is from the very popular 1960s original molds. Has many operational features including the V-2 missile with removable panel with full interior including fuel tanks, rocket engine and more, working launcher and transport trailer/erector and crew members. Please note that Revell lists this kit as 1/54 but I have noted it as 1/69 because the built missile measures 8" tall and the actual missile is 45.9 feet tall. That comes out to be 1/69. I don't usually correct listings for scale, but in this rare case I did.
