First issue 'S' kit dated 1958 that still includes a factory-wrapped & unopened tube of very colorful "S" Cement. As with most all Revell early ship kits, the model is finely molded and very well detailed. It measures about 15 inches long when assembled and features full detail on the top two decks, prefabricated rat lines, vac sails, full rigging material and instructions and display stand. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, flags and instructions present. In addition to the tube of unopened "S" Glue, this kit also includes the excellent booket "The Story Of Ships."

Very rare original "S" kit from 1959. The box states "So Realistic It Does Everything But Fly!" and that is no idle boast. It is full of action features; the wings fold, dive brakes operate, arresting hook moves, canopy slides to show full cockpit, landing gear retracts and cowling comes off to show fully detailed engine. The most interesting thing is that the landing gear retracts and extends with a very complicated gear system that is operated from a central point. Molded in the correct gloss medium gray and clear plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition with slight yellowing as the only flaw and the instructions are 'excellent++'. The box is only graded 'good-' due to the light age staining shown on the box top at the right side.

1958 first issue in beautiful 'Excellent+++' condition. Not the common 1960s version or a 1990s reissue. The box has stunning color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no fading or stains, no creasing and no tape & tape marks other than the factory sealing tape. Very, very light general wear is the only only flaw and a tiny spec of white at the center left as shown. Highly detailed for that time and features swiveling & rotating gun barrel with recoil action, rotating wheels with rubber tires, trails that fold inward for towing, 4 G.I. figures, shell casings, projectiles, shell crate and more. Includes a detailed 'battle-ground' base. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Rare original hardbox issue from 1958 in a beautiful 'Excellent++' condition box; this is not the common 1995 softbox reissue. Aurora had set the bar high for early armor kits; Revell had to better that and they did. This model features fine surface detail, flexible working treads, rotating turret, elevating gun, optional position hatches, four troops and more. Molded in the correct gloss deep green and with silver flexible tracks. Never started. All parts, decals and instructions have been inventoried 100% complete and are correct for this early issue. The box top has outstanding color & gloss, four solid corners and no repairs. The flaws the lightest of edge & corner wear on the lower right, very slight & isolated general wear on the two long sides and a very small & light 'ding' (about 1/4" long) on the left short panel.

Includes decals for both RAF and US Marines version. The kit has never been started. Many parts are still factory sealed; the parts that are not sealed have been inventoried complete. Rare. Original one-and-only issue dated 1958. It is easy to see why the Revell kits from this time are considered the pinnacle of model kit box art and so collectible today. As with all of the higher-quality models of that time, it has many action features including loading crane elevates and swivels 360 degrees & is fully rigged with blocks and tackle and the entire load-to-launching process can be duplicated with the trailer, truck, crane and launch pad. Includes a crew of 4, textured concrete base and missile launch pad. Molded in correct white and olive drab. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat, intact and grade 'excellent+++' condition with light age yellowing as the only flaw. The instructions are in 'near mint' condition with slight age yellowing. The photo of the box top makes it looks 'near mint' condition; however, it is graded 'excellent+++' because there is a crease in the logo at the upper right; however, it is slight and did not show up in the photograph.

1970 issue of this large 1/32 scale model that is well detailed for that time. The box art aircraft is that of squadron leader RR Stanford-Tuck whose markings are included. This Battle of Britain version features detailed Rolls Royce Merlin engine, removable cowling, completely detailed cockpit, sliding canopy, pilot figure, rotating wheels and propeller, detailed gear wells and more. There is no assembly but NOTE: pilot's face is painted. There is no other painting. It has been inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. The box is only 'good' because there is clear tape on the corners and also along the bottom of the four sides.

1980 issue. This large 1/32 scale Starfighter can be built as the USAF 'C' or Canadian 'G' variant. Features good cockpit, detailed landing gear and gear wells, real rubber tires, cannon bay with Vulcan 20mm gun & optional position access door, tip tanks, AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, iron bomb load, choice of 'C' or 'G' nose pitot probes, refueling probe and more. Includes painting guide and decals for both aircraft. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: (2) bomb haves only. There is no other assembly. It has been inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. The aircraft 'Smoke II' took part in the Vietnam war, and here is the bio from Arizonawrecks.com - '1 August 1966, at the same time that Capt Kwortnik's flight was encountering intense ground fire, another flight of Starfighters was escorting F-105 Wild Weasels over Thai Nguyen when one of them suddenly turned into a ball of flame. This was assumed to be another SA-2 SAM hit, and the pilot Lt. Colonel Arthur Thomas Finney was posted as missing, later KIA (his remains were returned to the USA 14 August 1985). This aircraft had the nickname "Smoke II" on its nose.'

1958 first issue hardbox featuring some of my favorite 'S' box artwork. Correct, original issue molded in three colors; not the later reissue. This model is loaded with working features typical of the higher quality kits of that time. The entire gantry tower folds back and moves on railroad base, the elevator moves to the four different work platforms and the Explorer Satellite can be removed from the Jupiter rocket. Includes crew of 7. Inside, the kit has never been started. The parts are molded in the correct red, medium gray and white. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts present, 'very good++' condition decals and 'excellent' instructions with typical yellowing.

Very rare, original 1950s S Issue hardbox kit in excellent condition. Not the 1990s reissue. Very nicely detailed and molded for that time featuring moving cranes and guns, primary and secondary (AA) armament, detailed superstructure, complete deck fittings, hanger bay, detailed Martin PBM-5 Mariner Seaplane and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, color flag sheet and instructions present. Decals and instructions are both in remarkable 'excellent++' condition with typical age yellowing being the only significant flaw. The Norton Sound molds were modified to create this kit, making any reissue of the Norton Sound impossible.

The P1099 was a Messerschmitt design department development of the Me-262. It was to be an all-weather heavy fighter for use against Allied bomber streams.
