First release 1953 hardbox pre 'S' kit and the first ship model that Revell cut their own molds for. Earlier Revell ship releases were very small scale sailing shps from ex-Gowland & Gowland molds. This kit was so popular for so long that many believe it was Revell's best selling ship model of all time. Inside, the kit is molded in the correct gloss medium gray plastic. It has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, the original small parts 'krinkle' bag (torn open), flag sheet and instructions. The early style flag sheet is in amazing 'near mint' condition and the instructions are the correct very large format for this issue and in 'excellent' condition. Please note that Revell did not furnish decals with this issue.

1956 'S' issue that is close to 1/72 scale and very good kit of the early single seat Voodoo. Rare. From 1973 and the first and only issue. In the 1970s Revell made two cut-away airliners in the 'Show-Off Model' series - the 747 and the L-1011. The 747 was reissued in the early 2000s, but the Tristar has never been reissued. This is a good kit with very good full interior detail. Features optional position landing gear, over 220 passenger seats with first class and coach, Passenger Lounge, upper and lower galleys, pilot, copilot, flight engineer and 5 air hostess figures. Includes a display stand with an L-1011 TriStar decal as well as full TWA decals for the aircraft. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box is 100% intact but has moderate to heavy wear as shown, hence the 'fair+' rating.

Frist issue of the 'Pacific Raiders' in a 1965 hardbox; not a modern reissue. Inside this model features the famous 1954 Pre-S Buffalo Bill kit but with Pacific Theater colors and markings. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the box displays better than the 'good+' rating but it is graded as such because there is light age foxing. The foxing shows up 'in person' but it so light that it is very difficult to see in the photo.

Rare true first issue with the short 1.25 inch hieight pre-'S' hardbox and the correct short-lived 2 piece stand as opposed to the later standard 4 piece stand. The very first Pre-S 'Swivel' Globe-based stands simply had a base and an arm and the arm has three prongs. This stand was discontinued shortly after introduction because it broke very easily. Inside the box, the kit is in the same condition that it came from the factory. The small parts still factory sealed in cello bag and the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes the correct decals and instructions.

Still factory 'round tape' sealed. This model is a modern reissue of the classic 1958 kit. Features 110 pieces, tractor and special trailer, shipping crates and the missile can be disassembled & put into individual crates and on the trailer. The trailer unhitches from cab and all wheels rotate. The trailer has a detailed underside and the truck features an opening hood with detailed engine and cab interior. A crew of 2 are included. The scale is listed as 1/48 in all of my source material, but Revell listed it as 1/54 in this 2011 reissue.

Early 1960s Revell of Great Britain issue. Arguably one of the most beautiful airliners built. With large colorful SAS decal sheet, rotating wheels, optional position loading ramp and landing gear. She saw service with Air France, SAS, Swissair, United and several others. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) small part, brace (for a gear strut). Rare model from 1959 and the last "S" kit issued by Revell. The box top is in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. It has fantastic color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading or stains and no price tags or tag marks. There is not any tape or tape residue on the two long sides, which is rare. Flaws include isolated very light shelf wear at the upper left and some very light edge wear on the vertical sides. This model features opening tandem canopies, moving control surfaces, detailed, removable jet engines and two pilots. As the last "S" kit, this kit also incorporated a critical improvement for the time that would become standard only recently: all recessed detail. The entire kit has recessed panel lines and rivet detail- no raised marks. It has an attention to detail that is lacking in many older Pre-S and S kits. Molded in the correct gloss light gray and clear with the "Globe" clear stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
