Rare. Lodela first and only issue with the combination of Argentine markings, Bullpup missiles, two missile carts and tow bars, pilot and three ground crew. This kit uses modified 1956 molds from H232-89, the original S Skyhawk issue. Revell added two Bullpup Missiles, two missile trailers with towbars, four figures, three figure bases, weapons pylons and more. Includes decals for Argentine Air Force or Navy versions. Molded in white and clear. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The box sides display better than the 'good++' grade, but it is rated as such because there is a narrow strip of clear tape on the right ends

Rare original hardbox issue from 1958; not the common 1995 softbox reissue. Aurora had set the bar high for early armor kits; Revell had to better that and they did. This model features fine surface detail, flexible working treads, rotating turret, elevating gun, optional position hatches, four troops and more. Molded in the correct gloss deep green and with silver flexible tracks. Never started. All parts, decals and instructions have been inventoried 100% complete and are correct for this early issue. The box top has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners and no repairs. The flaws are corner wear on the left as shown, a very light price tag pull on the left short side and a 3/4" x 3/4" factory tape pull on the long lower side. The original store neatly marked out the '129' price extension on both short side panels and wrote a very small '70' cents next to it.

1971 issue that is from the same molds as the famous USS Randall 1950s 'S' kit. This is a highly detailed and excellent kit for that time that features full, one-piece hull, detailed deck & superstructure, life rafts, deck guns, all masts and booms, a complete complement of 22 barges and landing craft and more. Very rare 2006 issue from completely new tooling. This Revell of Germany kit is very highly detailed and finely molded with 85 pieces and measures over 20 inches long when assembled. It accurately represents the minelayer type of U-Boat from WWII. Of the 6 VIIDs (U-213-218) produced, 5 were sunk and still serve as graves for 241 submariners. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'professional' quality subassembly to two bulkheads glued to one hull side. There is no other assembly. The kit has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

1960 issue hardbox with full artwork; Highway Pioneers prior to this year simply had generic artwork and an ink stamped name on the box ends was the only way to identify the contents. This kit has never been started. All parts are still sealed in the factory bag. Includes instructions. The box would rate slightly higher than 'very good' but there is age foxing on the box side panels. These kits have a fascinating history. Hobbies were nothing new to America in the 1930s/40s, but they were not mainstream and never made the top 10 list of boys activities. Spurred on by the nation-wide aviation craze in the 1920s, many became modelers and built flying or static wooden models of airplanes, ships, trains, automotive and other subjects. Basic kits existed, but many of these models were built from scratch, which demanded a high talent level developed from years of experience. That changed in the early 1950s when the Gowland & Gowland/Revell Highway Pioneers became the sales sensation of the year. Demand was so great that the factories could not keep up and almost overnight 'model building' was mainstream. The phenomenon of the 'Highway Pioneers' kits was a significant force in proving that model building as a hobby could have mass appeal, provided that the kits were easy enough to build and finish. These 1/32 scale vehicles fit the bill: they could be built in an hour after dinner and looked much like the real cars. The success of the Highway Pioneers lead to the production of other subjects in plastic and the effect was revolutionary. By the late 1950s, model building was the #1 past time of American boys...and many adult males too!
