1957 original 'S' issue with the fantastic box art that has made these kits so famous and collectible. The box is in superb 'excellent' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no fading or torn/missing litho. Very light and general wear is the only flaw. This was an excellent kit for that time and features optional position cargo door, refueling boom, optional position landing gear, moving rudder and more. Molded in the correct gloss silver and with the clear Revell 'Globe' Swivel Display Stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Rare 1958 first issue with the box art that made these kits so famous and collectible. This one is in 'excellent++' condition with perfect gloss and color, four solid corners, no repairs, no tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (except the factory sealing tape of course), no fading, creases or stains and no torn or missing litho. Flaws include light edge wear and corner wear as shown. Large-scale kit is very well molded for that time and features fine surface detail, moving flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder and features a full crew. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete. Decals and instructions are both in incredible 'Near Mint+' condition. Please NOTE that the vertical stabilizer tips on this kit were incredibly thin and fragile and often the tips (about 3 to 4mm) would break off in shipping. This kit is no exception, but both tips are present and fit back perfectly.

Original hardbox issue with a copyright date of 1965 (not a 1990s reissue). The 'Pacific Raiders' issue uses the same molds as the 1954 'S' kit. All three 'Raiders' (b-25, B-29 and B-24) sported new box artwork and featured WWII Pacific Theater colors and markings. This B-25 features crew members, turret blocking plate to model Doolittle's Tokyo Raiders, pilot and co-pilot figures, detailed landing gear, rotating propellers and more. Molded in gloss olive drab and clear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Features full hull with propeller and rudder detail, Essex-class modified angled deck, two movable elevators, rotating crane, ship's boats, AA guns and directors, detailed island structure, radar and sensors, accommodation ladders, deck tug, deck crash crane, 24 aircraft (TA-4J, Buckeyes, T-28C, Cougars, Trackers, F-4B Phantoms and 2 Huey TH-1L Helicopters) and more. Includes extensive decals with all white deck stripes, deck and island numbers and many decals for the air wing. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are in amazing 'near mint++' condition. The box displays much better than the 'very good-' grade but is rated at such because there is clear tap around the lower edge of the box sides.

My friend and model builder Stephen Payne high recommends that the purchaser of any Beaufighter Night Fighter model invests in a copy of the book "Night Fighter" by C.F. Rawnsley. Rawnsley was John Cunningham's Airborne Intercept radar operator throughout WWII in both Beaufighters and Mosquitoes. The book is the story of their time and combat together and makes excellent reading.
