Fantastic kit from the 1950s in an 'excellent' condition box. The classic artwork shows the Nike Ajax blowing up what appears to be a B-17 over an American city. Judging from the fiery blast from the launching Ajax in the background, these two ground crew may not make it away from this missile in time. This is an excellent model for that time that still rates well today. It features detailed missile with separating stages, operating control surfaces, operating launcher and more. The launcher is designed to connect other models to form an entire Nike Ajax Battery for the ultimate diorama. Molded in olive drab and white. The model has never been started. The white plastic parts and decals are still factory sealed; the olive drab parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions.

This is one of Renewal's famous Aeroskin kits, and a rare large one in 1/48. Features markings for the aircraft of "High Hat Squadron", VF-1B commander Seligman aboard the USS Saratoga in the early 1930s. The model has an injection molded inner structure of ribs and stringers like a real aircraft, then the modeler covers it with provided authentic pre-colored Aeroskin fabric. There is no painting needed as elaborate finishes are printed directly on the Aeroskin covering. This results a very realistic and colorful model. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag and includes Aeroskin and instructions.

Hard to fine early 1960s hardbox issue which includes both models. The Wright Brothers Kitty Hawk was the first aircraft to make powered and controlled flight, and the Bleriot Monoplane was the first aircraft to fly over the English Channel. These are unique and accurate kits. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft are built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic model. The models have never been started. All parts for both aircraft have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes covering tissue, instructions and Testors's covering glue glass bottle. The box is only graded 'good' because of the deep pencil writing on the right, which has scratched the box top.

Rare in 100% complete and never started condition. This classic 24" long Cold War SSBN kit is from about 1960. Features a complete and detailed interior almost identical to the dramatic box art and the starboard hull half opens downward to display it. Features rotating propeller, working diving planes, rudders, periscopes, snorkels, actual 'launching' Polaris missile from a spring-loaded tube, two Polaris A-1 missiles, crew members and much more. Includes a display stand which conceals the hinge for the starboard hull half. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. There is bug damage to the decal backing paper only; the actual transfers have no damage. The box is only in 'good-' (not collectible) condition. It has fine color but significant general wear, especially on the corners and edges. There are two large litho tape pulls on both long sides and a closed split corner at the lower left side.

Still factory sealed. Very rare original issue and extremely hard-to-find in sealed condition. This is the late 1950s issue and not the common modern reissue. The box top says 'Fully Operating Model Does Everything But Fire' and it is true. The model consists of over 300 parts and has many action features typical of Renwal models. The wheels roll, tractors can be hooked to the cannon which can be stowed in the 'travel' position. The gun can move into the 'fire' position off the tractors and can be realistically trained.

Late 1950s rare first issue of this very high quality, full-hull kit. Features a one piece hull, nine individually elevating 16" guns, rotating main and secondary turrets, fully detailed forward and aft island structures with radar, gun directors and range finders, individually molded 20mm guns with shields, helicopter, full rudder and propeller detail, detailed deck, flag sheet and full decals including draft markings. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, the #45 jackstaff. Easily made from wire or pulled sprue as it is simply a flag pole. Includes all other parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat, 100% intact and in 'excellent' condition but the white and black colors are off-register. If you want to build the model, I recommend the superb Starfighter Decals sheet '1/500 Cold War Cruisers' which has multiple sizes of hull numbers in large quantities and much more.
