1970s issue of this quality Airfix model issued by MPC in the popular Profile Series line with markings for three aircraft: 466 BG, 8th AF - 98 BG, 15th AF and RAF 356 Sqdn, SEAC. This was a well detailed model for that time featuring elevating guns and rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retractable landing gear, crew members, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position crew entry door & ladder and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in remarkable 'near mint+' condition, which is rare for 1970s MPC kits.

The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. The decals are flat, 100% intact, clear and in amazing 'near mint' condition. That is rare for MPC kits of this era.

In the 1970, MPC issued the popular 'Profile Series' kits. You could build the model any one of the three (and sometimes 4) ways illustrated on the box cover and the kit was from quality Airfix molds. This Black Widow includes decals for the 425th Night Fighter Sq, 9th USAAF, Picauville, France 1944; 550th Night Fighter Squadron, 5th USAAF, Morotai, Dutch Indies 1944 or the prototype P-61A-10-NO model flown by Lt. R.C. Bolinder. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'mint' condition which is rare for any MPC Profile Series kit.

Rare, large-scale original issue that was purchased new in December of 1973 in Akron, Ohio The MPC Pirates of the Caribbean series were unique and all of them became very collectible, classic kits. Each model is a full diorama and included extra bones, etc. so you could add your own touches. The 'Zap Action' feature was always interesting. For this model, the condemned pirate chops at the attacking gator's head. This model features a bonus 'Jolly Roger Wall Plaque' that is 5"x5" and in vacuformed plastic.

Rare. Still factory sealed and dated 1972. This exact kit was purchased brand new in December of 1973 in Akron Ohio. The MPC Pirates of the Caribbean series were unique and all of them became very collectible, classic kits. For the this model, the 'live' pirate, name Evilheart, slashes his cutlass at the skeleton guard but misses...and the guard raised his flintlock and gets the drop on Evilheart! I used to think that this was the old Airfix molds; however, the inside of the lower fuselage says "CPG Products Group 1983" so I am no longer certain of the mold origins. NOTE: the golden tokens on the lower box side have been neatly removed

this 1980s issue is from quality Airfix molds. The Devonshire was launched on June 10, 1960 and was the Royal Navy's first guided missile destroyer. The model features Seaslug and Seacat missile systems, full hull, propeller and rudder detail, very good superstructure and much more. Never started. Factory sealed bag with decals and instructions. The box would grade slightly better than 'Good-' but a previous owner cut the promotional tokens from the lower long box side.

It is well detailed and features parts and decals for a Police Rescue version and US Navy ASW helicopter with torpedo loadout, spinning main and tail rotors, good cockpit & interior detail including cargo deck, opening side doors, cargo net on side hoist, and working dipping sonar assembly (when you turn the rotor, it comes out of the bay and lowers - you can raise it by turning the rotors in the opposite direction) and more.
