This was a well detailed model for that time featuring elevating guns and rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retractable landing gear, crew members, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position crew entry door & ladder and more.

In the 1970s, MPC released the very popular Profile Series. Inside each box was a quality Airfix kit but with MPC decals to build any of the aircraft shown on the box top. In this case there are decals for four aircraft. This is a well detailed model that features a great deal of interior and all crew stations, opening bomb bay doors, full bomb bay detail, complete weapons load, moving ailerons, elevators & rudder, optional position landing gear and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'near mint' condition which is very rare for these 1970s MPC kits. But before you use any older decals, please read the two articles (on this website) about saving and also reproducing old decals.

However, NOTE: missing display stand. Includes instructions but NOTE: the decals are peeling (like most 1970s MPC kits) and in terrible condition.

Rare, large-scale original issue that was purchased new in December of 1973 in Akron, Ohio The MPC Pirates of the Caribbean series were unique and all of them became very collectible, classic kits. Each model is a full diorama and included extra bones, etc. so you could add your own touches. The 'Zap Action' feature was always interesting. In the case of the Mutineers, you press a button, and one pirate attempts to help lift his fellow pirate from a pit. Instead, he pulls his arm off clean off. For young children, this was an object lesson of the true power of a rubber band.

Rare. Still factory sealed and dated 1972. The MPC Pirates of the Caribbean series were unique and all of them became very collectible, classic kits. Each model is a full diorama and included extra bones, etc. so you could add your own touches. The 'Zap Action' feature was always interesting. For the this model, the 'mate' is being attacked by an octopus (for starters) but a much worse fate awaits him; unfortunately he is shackled to a ships anchor, which is about to slide overboard. His shipmate, arrives in the nick of time and cuts the anchor chain. Includes a bonus Jollly Roger Belt Badge.

Very rare 1970 first issue. Features Logghe Chassis build up just like the real car, lift-off body with support rods, very well detailed supercharged 426 Hemi engine, full front and rear suspension, complete cockpit, roll cage, fuel tanks, parachute, wheelie wheels, racing slicks and more. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Inside, it is still packed as it came from the factory. The white plastic parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The chrome, clear and tires were never factory sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

1970s issue from the quality Airfix B-24J molds. The decals are for a ship from 392nd that was lost in action over Germany on April 11, 1944. Well detailed and features elevating guns, rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retracting landing gear, rotating propellers, optional position crew entry door, boarding ladder, crew members and more. This special issue includes the MPC Modular Display Stand, four optional clear propeller disks for the 'engines running' look and a large decal sheet with marking for the box art aircraft and a 'custom' version. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag and decals and instructions are included. The decals are in remarkable 'near mint ++' condition which is rare for MPC kits of this era.

This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, propeller, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns), stock and customizing decals and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still have 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: like many MPC kits of this era, the decals are lifting and peeling off of the backing paper. You will need to supply your own decals if you are building the kit.

In the 1970, MPC issued the popular 'Profile Series' kits. You could build the model any one of the three (and sometimes 4) ways illustrated on the box cover and the kit was from quality Airfix molds. This Black Widow includes decals for the 425th Night Fighter Sq, 9th USAAF, Picauville, France 1944; 550th Night Fighter Squadron, 5th USAAF, Morotai, Dutch Indies 1944 or the prototype P-61A-10-NO model flown by Lt. R.C. Bolinder. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'mint' condition which is rare for any MPC Profile Series kit.
