1964 hardbox first issue and part of a very successful 1/48 scale line of World War II kits that Monogram issued in the 1960s. Includes all parts and decals to build any of the five versions and will also make two additional versions - Mark IIA and Mark IIB as per the introduction on the instructions. Features a wide variety of guns, bombs, rockets and cannon, retracting landing gear, rotating propeller & wheels and more. Molded in a beautiful gloss medium gray, black and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are 100% intact and flat but NOTE: they are lifting and starting to peel. The box has light bug damage to the lithograph as shown.

1985 issue as a tie-in with the famous movie. Very large 1/24 scale kit is over 19 inches long when built. Actually, this model is made from the same molds as the Phantom Huey kit from the late 1960s, except it is molded in color and excludes the non-relevant parts. The results is a wonderfully detailed kit with full interior, two pilots, full instrument panel and radios, detailed engine and transmission, opening cabin doors, and rotating main and tail rotors. Includes XM-16 armament subsystem with quad 7.62 mm machine guns with ammunition belts and two LAU 32A/A (Aero 60) rocket pods. Molded in olive drab, silver, flexible black and clear. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1983 issue after Monogram's late 1970s purchase of all of the Aurora molds. Since it is from the original Aurora molds, it includes the figure, display base, bats, gnarled tree stump and more. You can't say that Monogram didn't do their best with the Aurora movie monsters; this is one of at least 3 different Monogram issues. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all of the 'stock' parts present. NOTE: this kit originally came with duplicate 'glow' parts; those are all missing. All other parts are present and includes instructions.

Still factory sealed; the seal has shrunk and pulled the box top slightly concave; there is a also a seal split at the upper right. This Plastikit 'Forty Niner' is the first issue from 1960. Finely molded with excellent detail for that time and scale. Usually molded in gloss dark olive drab and clear plastic.

1997 reissue from the original molds of the 1958 first issue and still possibly the best plastic kit ever of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight. Rigging instructions are also included. Molded in colors very close to the original issue - ivory, tan and clear. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions. NOTE: instructions are high-quality, full-size photocopies from the original issue.
