Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
$44
This 3rd issue is from 1967 and is from the original Four Star molds. For some reason, the Blue Box is harder to find than the earlier Four Star and 1970s White Box issues. Features rotating propellers, side gun packs & cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, under-wing rockets, boarding ladder and more. Molded in gloss silver and clear plastic and includes the "Sh-Boom" decals like the early issue. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good++
$46
This kit is from 1995 and includes photoetched details and superb Pro Modeler instructions. It is from the well engineered original Monogram kit with excellent detail for that time. Features parts to builds one or two seater version (day or night fighter with radar), removable panels to show twin DB-603 engine detail, full cockpits with optional position canopies, 'up' or 'down' position undercarriage, rotating propellers and more. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Do-335 was a very high performance German WWII aircraft that was too late to see active service. In addition to it's 480+ mph speed, the 335 was equipped with ejection seats and a linked jettisonable upper vertical tail surface.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc++
$49
Still factory sealed and from 1967. For some reason, this Blue Box issue has always been harder to find than the earlier Four Star & later White Box issues. This model kit is from the original molds and features rotating wheels and propellers, side gun packs and cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, underwing rockets and boarding ladder. It is normally molded in gloss silver and clear and has the "Sh-Boom" early issue style decals. NOTE: the box displays better than the 'excellent+' grade but it rated as such because there is a piece of clear tape on the seal; it is difficult to see, but it is on the right side about 1" in from the right edge.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc+++
$69
Still factory sealed and rare in this condition. This is the 1967 release and for some reason, this Blue Box PBY turns up much less than the earlier Four Star and later White Box issues. Even rarer is the fact that it has a price extension on the four digit part number, which was a very short lived feature; within a year Monogram would drop the price extension forever. The kit is from the original 1955 molds and features a pilot, co-pilot and two 'blister' position gunner figures, landing gear and wing-tip floats can be assembled in the down or retracted position, rotating propellers, dual torpedo armament and more.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed NM++
$58
Still factory sealed and in exceptiona, investment-grade 'Near Mint++' condition. This is the third issue of this kit; the Blue box is dated 1968 and please note the rare 'transitional' part number kit from when Monogram was changing over from 'PA' to four digit numbers. This one has both numbers which was only done for one year or less. This quality model is from the original 'Four Star' molds and features drop tanks, bombs, opening canopy, pilot figure, ground crewman and boarding ladder. Usually molded in green, light gray and clear.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc++
$89

Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The only difference between the 1st and 2nd issue of this kit is the box top logo; the 1st issue says "Four Star Plastikit" under "Monogram" and the 2nd issues says "The Name For Quality Hobby Kits" under "Monogram".
