Still factory sealed. 1983 issue of this classic large-scale 'Action Model' from the original 'Four Star' Monogram molds. Includes a large and extensive decal sheet that has all checkerboards for 'Contrary Mary' as pictured. Features highly detailed cockpit, opening and closing canopy, tiny levers under the wings that drop 2 bombs, and a knob under the wing that when rotated will extends and also retract the main gear and tail wheel; all gear doors (including the tail wheel doors) open and close automatically with the gear. Not only do these features sound great, but they work. My built kit (White Box issue) is ~60 years old and still functions like new. Usually molded in silver, black and clear plastic.

Includes the factory-sealed Eduard 48-236 P-47N Detail Set designed for this kit; includes two big frets, dozens of parts and full instructions. The actual kit is still factory sealed. 1994 issue that is the is the superb Pro Modeler release. This model is from completely new molds (not the old Monogram P-47). Features all fine recessed panel lines, excellent cockpit, pilot figure, optional position canopy, detailed gear wells and full engine, clear wingtip navigation lights, a nice selection of weapons including drop tanks, bombs and rockets and very colorful decals for the two aircraft listed.

Still factory sealed and in 'Near Mint' condition. Monogram Classics issue from the year 2000 and made from the original molds of the great 1960s kit. Widely considered to be one of the best visible airplane action kits ever made. Features a completely clear model with excellent interior detail, including engine, full cockpit, opening canopy, pilot figure, wing and fuselage gasoline and oil tanks, structural members, all guns, ammunition bays and belted .50 caliber shells, levers on the base that drop the two wing bombs, buttons that activate two motors that make the prop spin and the main gear and tail wheel retract and extend. All main and tail wheel doors close automatically.
