Still factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Mint' box condition. This 1973 release of the famous Four Star kit features retractable landing gear, pilot figure, rotating wheels & propeller and more. This is one in a very famous series of 1/48 WWII kits by Monogram, initially released in the very late 1950s. At time, no other 1/48 scale kit even came close for accuracy, fit and finish for well over a 3 decades.

Classic 1959 first issue of the famous Wright C9HE Cyclone 9 that powered The SBD Dauntless, B-17, DC-3, A-12, SA-16 Albatross, Stratoliner, B-18, B-10 and so many others. This large-scale kit is molded in black, red, gray and copper so no painting is needed. Includes an optional, cut-away, operational cylinder if you wish to add it. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, stickers, instructions and special booklet on the Cyclone 9. NOTE: the optional connecting rod (for the optional cut away cylinder) has a very small section missing at the bottom. Since it does not show, it can easily be fixed (made operational) with epoxy and a small metal washer.

Rare, true first issue dated 1956 and in excellent condition inside and out. This was Monogram's 16th plastic kit. The large-scale model is highly detailed for that time and features flexible sails, crew of two, working rudder, extensive illustrated & text rigging instructions and large anchor-shaped stand. Molded in red and ivory plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts, rigging thread, sails and includes instructions. The first issue is denoted by the 'P' prefix part number and "Four Star Plastikit" text in the Monogram log. The second issue has the 'PB' part number prefix and "The Name For Quality Hobby Kits" for the logo text.

This superb model features Monogram's perfect fit and finish, opening doors, full interior with seats, instrument panel, dual yokes & rudder pedals, detailed engine, removable cowling and more. The box would grade higher than 'very good' but is graded as such because there is a price tag litho tear on the right short side. This superb model features full interior detail with instrument panel, yokes, front and rear seats & opening doors, removable cowl with detailed engine, floats, standing pilot figure and ski-equipped bathing beauty. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Monogram offered a wonderful but insanely rare card-stock display that was available through mail order only. It was based on the factory display cardboard but with most of the advertising removed. The same was done for the Piper Tri-Pacer.

First issue 'Four Star" kit dated 1960. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, rigging material and instructions for rigging and is molded in clear, orange and silver. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and excellent decals and instructions.

Rare, original issue 4-Star kit from 1961. The box is in 'excellent+' condition with like new color and gloss and light general wear as shown. Very highly detailed for that time and features a unique system for retracting and extending the landing gear: when you pull the propeller outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. 1995 reissue of the 1968 kit and the best Saturn in 1/144 scale due to Monogram's famous engineering and detail. Features 87 pieces, all three correctly separating stages to demonstrate a simulated flight, opening top doors to reveal the removable scale escape tower, Lunar Lander, command module and re-entry capsule, correct engine detail for all stages, three figures and launch pad stand. Molded in white, silver and with a yellow base. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.
