Late 1950s rare first issue of this very high quality, full-hull kit. Features a one piece hull, nine individually elevating 16" guns, rotating main and secondary turrets, fully detailed forward and aft island structures with radar, gun directors and range finders, individually molded 20mm guns with shields, helicopter, full rudder and propeller detail, detailed deck, flag sheet and full decals including draft markings. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, the #45 jackstaff. Easily made from wire or pulled sprue as it is simply a flag pole. Includes all other parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat, 100% intact and in 'excellent' condition but the white and black colors are off-register. If you want to build the model, I recommend the superb Starfighter Decals sheet '1/500 Cold War Cruisers' which has multiple sizes of hull numbers in large quantities and much more.

In the 1960s Airfix re-imaged with a new 'Type 3' logo and all-new box art; the excellent HMS Hood model looks great in both. This full hull model is finely molded & detailed for that time, like the overwhelming majority of the Airfix ship range. Very rare kit from 1964 with artwork by the famous John Steel. The USS Canberra, originally CA-70 (Baltimore Class Heavy Cruiser) was converted to the world's second Guided Missile Cruiser in 1952 and re-designated CAG-2. Her sister Boston was the first CAG and was CAG-1. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Still factory sealed but the seal has splits. The T43 Class were large minesweepers originally built by the Soviet Union from 1948 to 1957. Poland produced some of this class also. The subject of this kit is a modification to carry out acoustic or radar monitoring work. This is a full-hull kit with good detail.

Still factory sealed but the seal has a few splits on the box top as shown. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857. The kit is the large scale Airfix Japan issue; it is well detailed and features full hull, complete deck fittings, ships boats, preformed rat lines, detailed paddle wheels, billowing sails and much more.

Rare, out of production and highly detailed model of this famous sailing ship features 419 pieces, full hull, all fittings, vacuform billowing sails in 'excellent' condition (not 'perfect' but 'excellent,' which means well above average), plenty of standing and running rigging material and full rigging instructions. Build the ultimate 1/350 scale Z-Class destroyer! Includes a factory sealed Wood Hunter W35045 Wood Deck With Metal Chain and Brass PE Details and the very rare Lion Roar RS3509 WII German Navy Z-Class Destroyer Super Detail Set. It has never been used and the many parts are all still in the factory sealed bags but NOTE: missing one fret 'F' which is the turret fret. Fortunately the model has good guns and turrets. Otherwise all of the small parts (resin details, metal gun barrels, etc.) are still in the factory sealed bags and the other 11 frets are present and complete. First issue 'S' kit dated 1958 that includes a factory-wrapped 4" long never used tube of colorful Revell 'S' Cement. The metal tube is in amazing 'near mint' condition and is not the usual small size issued with the early kits. As with most all Revell early ship kits, the model is finely molded and very well detailed. It measures about 15 inches long when assembled and features full detail on the top two decks, all cannons, complete deck fittings, prefabricated rat lines, vac sails, full standing and running rigging material, display stand and much more. The model has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, flags, sails, thread and instructions present. The sails are in remarkable 'near mint' condition. Also includes the excellent booklet 'The Story of Ships' and an order form for 'The Dawning Space Age' book. Please NOTE that the box is only 'good-' due to clear packing tape at the two lower corners and a closed corner split at the upper left; there is also general wear and scuffs. The anchor stocks of this kit have molded-on rings; more often than not, the rings are either short shot or broken off; this kit is no exception.

1960 issue with modified molds, 'textured' hardbox and frameable John Steel box artwork. The texture was used to make the artwork seem more like a painting, and it did. This large and detailed full hull kit builds up to almost 15" long. It is not simply a reissue of the earlier 'The Sullivans' but Revell correctly modified it to represent a late-war Fletcher class DD. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, color flag sheet and instructions present. The box is at the low end of 'good' with light brown spotting all over the box top.

Early issue from the 1960s before Nichimo used part numbers. It is part of a unique and very successful 1/500 scale warship series with rare glossy box art from the 'Golden Age' of Japanese model kit illustrations. The model can be built motorized for operation in water or static full hull or waterline versions. It is very well detailed and molded for that time. Includes all hardware for motorizing with metal gear box for duel-propeller drive, brass batter contacts and switch, wire, threaded steel propeller shafts, universal joints and more, one piece lower hull (molded in an excellent simulation of IJN Hull Red), one piece upper hull (molded in gray), detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, some finer details in black plastic and more. Never started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags with the Nichimo paper headers. The hardware has been inventoried complete. Includes instructions and even the original silver and gold foil covered cardboard nameplate for display.
