Rare early issue from Pyro, likely from the late 1950s or very early 1960s. Wonderful kit of the famous schooner that would race between New York and Bermuda. Very nicely detailed and includes billowing sails, standing and running rigging material and full rigging instructions. Measures about 19 inches long when built. NOTE: this kit has very minor and neat assembly: 3 eyelets are glued to the hull. There is no other assembly. NOTE: the hull below the waterline only is painted green. There is one coat and the quality is only 'good.' there is no other painting. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, thread and instructions present.

Life-Like issue with with the original Pyro part number and A.J. Rudisill artwork. Most likely from the early to mid 1970s. This is a full hull, large scale model of Admiral Dewey's famous flagship. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing two very small #13 deck guns near the stern. Otherwise complete with all other parts including instructions. This kit is from the famous Pyro molds; Life-Like purchased the entire Pyro plastic kit line in the 1970s.

The Kasuga Maru was one of a class of three Japanese ocean liners that were built for the Nippon Yusen K line. She was launched in September 1940 and saw very little or no service (accounts vary) as a transport before her conversion to the escort carrier Taiyo. Given the size and machinery of this class of liner, the IJN subsidized their construction and knew they would make fine escort carriers. The Taiyo went on to have a very active career. She was attacked many times and damaged several times. Taiyo was eventually sunk in a submarine attack in August 1944 with a heavy loss of life by the USS Rasher.

Rare original issue from 1955. This kit has some of my favorite Revell 'S' artwork and is incredibly well detailed for that time. Features a one-piece hull and one-piece main deck, oil hatches, piping, chocks, windlass & valve detail, winches, pipe line davits, fore and midship catwalks, detailed midship and rear superstructure including skylight showing some engine detail, stairways, ventilators, masts & booms, davits & ships boats, anchors, jackstaff & flagstaff, rudder and more. Inside, the model has never been started. The kit has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, flag sheet and instructions. The box had two closed split corners. NOTE: pieces #21 and #22 (rear side railings) are a different color plastic. They are from a later issue of this same model.

Rare 1956 Revell Gift set containing all three ships and even the unopened tube of colorful Revell "S" cement. This was the first and only issue of this specific gift set and features spectacular special box artwork. The tugboat is 1/108 scale and the tanker and cargo ship are both 1/400. Inside, the kit is 100% correct. The special color cardboard over lay is factory fresh. The tug and C-3 lower hulls are factory painted red (the T-2 was molded in red so it was not painted). Decals are included. The instruction sheets are excellent with the typical yellowing as the only flaw. The three kits have not been started. The tug and freighter still have the small parts in the factory sealed clear bags; the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. The tanker has been inventoried 100% complete. All three kits include decals and instructions. The box has brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners and no repairs. There is no tape, tape marks, price tags or price tag marks. However, there is moderate and light general wear and 'dings' on the two lower corners as shown. Shipping insurance is required with this kit.

1989 issue from Ex-ITC (Ideal) molds originally from the early 1960s. This is a well-detailed scale model for that time that features full hull, complete deck fittings and more. Includes a display stand. NOTE: this kit has been neatly started as follows: hull halves assembled. The work done is excellent++ but there is some visible glue that needs to be sanded off near the stern. There is no other assembly. The parts have been inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: two propeller blades are broke off but are present and fit back well for a straight-forward repair.
