1975 issue and a fine full-hull kit of Training Carrier CVT-16. Features full, one-piece main hull with full propeller, shaft & rudder detail, Essex-class modified angled deck, two movable elevators, rotating crane, ship's boats, AA guns and directors, detailed island structure with radar & sensors, accommodation ladders, deck tug, deck crash crane, 24 aircraft (TA-4J, Buckeyes, T-28C, Cougars, Trackers, F-4B Phantoms and 2 Huey TH-1L Helicopters) and more. Includes extensive decals with all white deck stripes, deck and island numbers and many decals for the air wing. Never started. All small parts are still factory sealed. The few larger parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals, color flag sheet and instructions. Decals are flat, 100% intact but NOTE: the backing sheet has some very light brown stains; the actual decals have no stains.

Rare and from the 1960s. Fleet Line sold K&O Japanese-produced motorized wooden boat models as well as outboard engines and several other toys. The Fury is a 9" long model boat designed for water operation and fully motorized. Features factory-installed motor, metal hardware, switch & propeller, hull & cabin molded in a sea-mist turquiois (hull & cabin) and ivory (deck), smaller parts for assembly, flag staff & flat and full instructions. Never run and inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. IN addition to these types of boats, Fleet Line also purchased or leased the Medley molds for the injection molded plastic Tug Boat 'Cheryl Ann' which was licensed from the 'Waterfront' TV series.

Rare kit from the 1950s with classic Ray Gaedke artwork. Motorized and designed for water operation; easily converted to R/C. This large-scale kit was very well detailed for that time, featuring clear hull and superstructure windows, all deck fittings down to ammo boxes & flag staffs, 6 piece 20mm anti-aircraft guns, full superstructure, bridge with horns, search lights, front & rear radar antennas and more, life boat, stretchers, opening rear rescue transom with boarding ladder, gun and bridge crew members, stanchions and railing rigging instructions, display stand and more. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one clear, flat superstructure window (easily made from clear stock) and one flat brass rectangle contact (easily made from brass stock). Otherwise the kit is complete with all other parts, decals, color flag sheet and instructions present. NOTE: this kit has very neat sub-assembly as follows: battery box to hull; motor mount, motor, shaft & universal drive to hull; clear bow windows to hull sides. This kit was advertised by Lindberg as 1/72 but is actually closer to 1/88 scale. The Air Force Rescue Boats were the fastest among all Air Force craft. Built by Detroit Basin Inc, they were designed to reach a downed aircraft very quickly and rescue the crew in the least possible time. They were powered by three 1,500 horsepower Packard V-12 gasoline engines and fully crewed by 14 men and 2 officers. After reaching a downed aircraft, the pilots were brought aboard through a gate in the transom. In the event the flight crew was injured, the well in the stern leads directly into a sick bay with 12 litters. To ward off attackers, these vessels were equipped with two 20mm twin mount cannons and plenty of ammunition. They had radar and could operate in all weather conditions.

First issue hardbox from 1969. In the late 1960s Aurora went to great lengths in improve new kit quality; this is one of those models. It features a full hull, retracting forward and aft hydrofoils, detailed dual .50 caliber machine guns, 40mm gun, 81mm Mortar & gunner figure, interior cabin details, clear superstructure windows, crew members and more. Includes a display stand. This kit has minor assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals, color flag sheet and instructions. There is no assembly but NOTE: one #8 bow door has a small spot of glue on the inside; not seen after assembly. Also, the two thin and tiny rectangular retainers are broken off flush with the door and missing. They can be easily made with Evergreen stock or are not seen if the door is closed.

Early 1960s hardbox issue with great artwork. This kit is of the earliest ships built by Yankee craftsman during the Revolutionary War. The ships were speedy and handled so well that the British copied a captured brig. While well suited to commerce raiding, they were not of the size and strength needed to take on Royal Navy units. Inside is a is a well molded, small-scale, full-hull model that features engraved hull & deck, cannon, masts, billowing sails and more. Measures about 7" long (overall) and includes a display stand. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, stand and instructions present. The box is rough but complete as shown.

Very rare and for the advanced collector. The large Hawk Hawaiian Catamaran was issued only once in 1956 and cost $4.95 at a time when most model kits cost between 29 and 79 cents. The model is based on an actual Waikiki Beach sailing ship. The scale is not given, but the kit measures 16 inches long and about 20 inches tall when assembled. It is a true scale model with excellent detail for that time. Features one piece catamaran hulls, twin rudders with left and right tillers and connecting bar, cabin, life preservers, stanchions, metal hand rails, full vacuform billowing sails, rigging blocks, full rigging instructions, rigging material and color decals. The hulls, life preservers and rudders are molded in gloss pink, the cabin and hull decking are gloss baby blue and the masts, blocks, cleats and numerous other parts are molded in a realistic 'swirl' wood tan. The sails are still in mint condition thanks to the special packing from the Hawk factory. The kit has never been started. When you open it up, it is very close to being as it left the factory. The large parts that were wrapped in factory tissue are still wrapped; the white vac sails are still wrapped also. The baby blue small parts are still in the factory sealed bag and the tan parts are still factory-sealed in the colorful HAWK bag. The small pink krinkle bag has split; it is present and those parts have been inventoried complete. All interior factory cardboard display pieces are intact and in 'very good+' or better condition. The instructions are one large sheet and are in 'near mint' condition. The box top has excellent color and gloss but has general wear as shown. Also, there is closed split on the upper left-hand corner that has been correctly repaired from the inside with cardstock and book binding glue. The decals are flat, 100% intact and in 'excellent++' condition with very slight yellowing as the only significant flaw.

Rare second issue hardbox from 1960 which builds up to an impressive and well detailed model. Features an airwing with twin-rotor helicopter, F9F Cougars, F8U Crusaders, A-1 Skyraiders, A-4 Skyhawks and F11F Tigers, deck crane, 6 deck tractors, side aircraft elevators that move up and down; mid-deck bow elevator can be displayed down or up, detailed island, separately molded main AA gun armament and much more. Includes a large and extensive decal sheet with full ship numbers, name, detailed deck markings and aircraft markings and more. The decals are in 'excellent' condition with light yellowing as the only flaw. Molded in the correct gloss gray. This kit has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, flag sheet and instructions. The decals and flag sheet are both in 'excellent++' condition. The instructions are 'very good+'. The box has great color and gloss, four solid & original corners, no tear, tape or torn or missing lithogrphs. It displays much better than the 'good++' grade but it is rated as such because there is a crease at the lower center as shown and several pin holes (literally made by straight pins) in the box top. They cannot be seen in the photo due to their small size.

Dated 1977 but the molds likely date back to the 1960s. This is a large and detailed kit for that time. Fully motorized motorized and ideal for RC conversion with modern, small servos & receivers. Features electric motor, dual prop drive, dual rudders and complete deck fittings, bridge, crew members and much more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the yard arm is broken at the middle; all parts are present and fit back together perfectly. The 95' U.S. Coast Guard Cutter 95304, a Coastal Patrol Boat was one of 36 boats built between 1953 and 1959. These cutters were stationed all along the U.S. coasts and performed Search and Rescue missions, and Port Security duty. Nine of the vessels were transferred to South Korea. The remaining vessels remained on active Coast Guard duty until 1986 to 1990. They were replaced with a succession of 82', 87' and 110' Patrol Boats.
